Came here because I was craving Jamaican and saw they had vegetarian options. I ordered their jerk tofu with rice and peas as well as a side of mac and cheese. Mac and cheese was flavorless and barely had any cheese. Jerk tofu was not what I had expected. It was extremely spicy and lacked flavor. Most other Jamaican spots include cabbage and/or plantains with their platters but here you have to pay for those sides. I couldn’t even finish my meal.. ?
Great customer service! They go the extra mile. Love this place when they opened but now they have upgraded. Since the pandemic, the dining area is now zoned off, there is a lounge room and a side shop for just small item commodities. The counter area is redesigned and looks good. Customer waiting is minimal, timely, efficient.The only thing more I wish is that I could get to the shop easier on the phone. Sometimes it can be busy and not easy to get someone. However, walk up service is fast and you’ll walk out with another island delight. :-)
I love the food here I have been eating here for the last 2 or more years and the food is so dag on good. The service is outstanding the owner Tony is welcoming I travel from Essex on the weekends to eat here and my co-workers and I go here for lunch at least 3 times a week.
Please don't order from this place. Food is horrible, 70.00 only to trash it. Rum cake taste like it was made in a eazy bake oven, full size portions was half then I asked for curry gravy on my oxtails which never happened. Over Priced, horrible experience won't ever try again.
Really good food. I normally get the oxtails or the curry goat, and it's always very good. Friendly staff and quick service. I've never actually sat and had a meal in this restaurant, and honestly I don't know that I've ever seen anyone actually sitting at a table eating so I can't comment on the table service. I'm a huge fan though.
The food is so good! ? I've had the large oxtail and yellow rice with cabbage and extra gravy and it was and always is remarkable every time I've had it..Def a place you must visit. ?
I bought curry goat and it was seasoned dung to the bone.The cabbage was crunchy and well flavored.Well done Mr.chef and staff that's very polite
The chef is a master of his craft. The food is finger-licking awesome. The atmosphere is comfortable and inviting. I highly recommend this place.
We ordered through GrubHub and delivery was faster than estimated. We got jerk chicken and oxtail. The food was good. Very flavorful and similar to how I make it. Unfortunately I gave 4 stars because we got a lot of rice, like so much rice but very very very little cabbage, like one bite. Plantains were also very dry. I wish we got equal amount cabbage and rice, and also option for sauce on the side. The large serving is enough for two meals, plenty for leftovers next day. But overall food was tasty.
I ordered from this establishment in hopes of an amazing meal. The food was in my opinion horrid. The jerk chicken had a funny taste and they had no plantains. Why would you let someone order and pay for something you don't have?! This was by far the worst food I ever had. So disappointed. My kid didn't even like the mess. I had to throw it away. ??
