I have ordered online from them so many times that I've lost count, their food holds a special place in my heart, and the customer service makes me smile. Thank you for continuing to be open through covid and putting care into your work.
This place is my breakfast, lunch and dinner, everything is flavorful and freshno matter what time of day I order. love this place
Hands down the best Caribbean food/cuisine, desserts! The atmosphere is vibing. But too say the the least, the price is fabulous, food portions great amount. Chicken + 2 sides, plantains, and drink for all less than $10. I live over 25-minutes away and make my way to them at least twice a week.
One of the best meals I've had.1) The prices, especially for these days, are pretty dang reasonable.2)Portions - Im gonna be eating this for at least two days and im okay with that lol. Also...I dont wanna hear people complain about the ratio of rice (Which with the sauce/oil you get, is glorious) to meat....thats how food is. You eat a bit of meat with the rice. Its literally how broke people have been eating since the beginning of time. If you want more meat.....pay for more meat. Otherwise, the ratio of meat to rice is appropriate for the price.3)Taste - I dont have proper words to explain how it all taste because it was all just...lovely. You could taste each bit alone and its WONDERFUL but you could also mix them together and create a harmony of flavors. Also, the pineapple/ginger drink was refreshing as all get out. A real lovely palette cleanser.I know this is a lot for a review but if you have a good eating experience...say so, in detail, so others will follow suit <3
Food is good but the young lady you all have working at the cash register is extremely rude. Please work on that.
Straight Jamdown Island Cuisine I love you guys. You came through for me at the last minute. I really mean at the last minute. I needed some food for my business and I stop by after 3pm and I needed it by 7pm. My staff loved the food the Oxtail its to die for. Trust me you guys will be the go to spot. I Tried the other one down the street . I won't say anything more. JamDown keep doing a great job with the food and you will always get my business.
I’m a little late to write this review, but the food here is so GOOD. I don't know what the other lady is talking about, but the young lady at the register is so hilarious and Sweet. Would recommend coming back here. I might even order a big pan of curry chicken next time. ( the one on Hanover is ?)
Flavorful food, caribbean sized portions and friendly service! We had oxtail, jerk chicken and barbeque chicken. My wife and I went for the first time today and we will definitely be coming back. Big up!
YEA MON , I would like to say that this food was soo good I had order some real Jamaican oxtail from the pretty girl up front I don't know what that person was talking about but she was very sweet with me!!!
I ordered from these great people yesterday. I'm a homemaker that cooks all of the time. We, my husband and I, take care of a church member that just turned 80 on Wednesday and take care of a 5 year old neighbor, as well as anyone that passes through. That food was sooooo awesome and we're all picky eaters. Simply the best!!
