My husband and I attended Opera Night, which was a five-course dinner for $85 each, and live entertainment by a tenor and a soprano who sang selections from various operas, accompanied by a pianist. I was blown away by how coordinated the service was (kudos to our server, Victoria) and how expertly the food was prepared, given the number of people who attended. The menu was fixed, so there were some things I wouldnât have ordered due to personal taste (I like cantaloupe but not prosciutto, but I could work around it). Risotto with pear and shrimp was an unexpectedly wonderful combination. The grilled bronzini was perfect. I would have liked a green vegetable with it vs. two slices of heirloom tomato. Crème brí»lée was a nice, light finish. Overall, we had a lovely night out and canât wait to attend another Opera Night. Bravo, Sotto Sopra!
Sotto Sopra's opera night is such a special experience - the food and drink were fantastic, service was impeccable, and the performers are immensely talented.

Dependably-good Sotto Sopra outdid itself this time. On our first time back at "Ricardo's place" (the chef-owner) in about a year, we found the wine and cocktail list were expanded and improved, while the menu had a mix of standard favorites with some really interesting starters and mains. Service was warm, attentive, and efficient. And the desserts--Semolina cake with vanilla gelato, pistachio creme brulee--were spectacular.

Sotto Sopra never disappoints! Our server was very knowledgeable about ingredients, the menu choices were varied and unique. It is my favorite restaurant in Baltimore. I am from Ocean City, NJ, and I try to go when I am in the area. I highly recommend!
