Excellent food! The sashimi was fresh. We had the omakase which looked great and tasted even better.

Waited forever and finally cancel all sushi because we already waited for more than two hours. Not hungry anymore because my anger filled it.Reply to owner’s reply: Yes we can definitely tell that the staff is not enough. If you or your employees cannot handle all those customers, you could inform us before we wait 20 mins to be seated. Or you could close for a couple of days to deal with your problems. Customers don’t need to understand and endure this. Or you could only take omakase. The waitress took it for granted that we need to understand and wait there. My friend recommended your restaurant, so we bring another 2 friends to ‘enjoy’ a dinner with our expectations but it turned out we were only served appetizers and all left hungry and angry. I feel ashamed to bring them. I don’t think we should spend 2.5 hours in a sushi bar. It’s not a high class formal dinner. Train your employees. I can make sushi and those even not fried - fried chicken wings faster at home.

We came here for a birthday dinner, and as it was our first time trying omakase, we didn’t want to spend a huge amount. Our dinners were $75 each, which is quite reasonable for omakase, and the sushi was so amazing. Each piece was crafted with care and specially designed to taste unique. The atmosphere here is a little lacking, but the food makes up for that. If you’re looking for a good omakase deal, this is a great place to try.

Fresh fish and generous slices. The selection is heavy on tuna so it got a bit boring to eat after awhile. Quite expensive for the selection but the quality was there

I was initially amped about trying Sizka, but it was a let down. All our maki and special maki rolls just seemed a bit bland. We got the Caribbean roll and crazy roll. I wasn't a fan of mango on the rolls but it was worth trying. the crazy roll was the winner here. Spicy tuna and salmon avocado roll didn't taste like anything. I'm not sure if the sushi rice lacked vinegar or if the fish wasn't that tasty. Overall I would try another sushi spot. It is a BYOB establishment which makes it slightly appealing. Maybe the omakase or platters are the better way to go?

I have been eating sushi since I was young and had good sushi in Japan. This place is a must to visit if you are a big fan of fresh sashimi and sushi. I don't eat rolls so can't speak on that but the quality of fish the chef bring is amazing! Highly highly recommend to all!

Great, fresh sushi & food! Super reasonable prices, good service and BYOB! Def give it a try

10/10! Amazing food and service!

Sizka took me by surprise with it's wide variety of high quality fish and high standard for freshness. Sit at the bar and have a personal experience watching a masterpiece be delivered to your plate. You will NOT be dissapointed. Plus it's fun to give Jay, the owner and lead sushi chef, a hard time; he is gracious with a good sense of humor. Ask him to show you his knives and give you a tutorial about the fish you're eating. BYOB so bring good sake to share with them! :-)

one of the better sushi experiences in Baltimore. sashimi was fresh. bring your own drinks.
