I see a lot of bad reviews due to people not liking the meat but I’m vegetarian so I just tell them not to put the meat in my food while still giving me the stew. (Yes I know it’s cooked together but I don’t care lol) Anyway, without the hard meat issue yhat everyone is having I alwayssssssss enjoy my food from here. So if you’re vegetarian/vegan, you won’t have a problem with the food. So much flavor!

They have fufu, just ask! $5.30 per ball(one is enugh for anyone) but worth it. I cook my own vegan stew to pair with it. The food people get here always smells so good. There are not many African food places nearby so this needs to keep open. I really don't know anything about African food, but I know this is a perfect place to learn by trying out the different items on the menu. For those who want to know fufu is cassava(tastes similar to potato) flour cooked with water and continuously added until very thick and dough like. To keep it from sticking to your hand, try dipping fingertips in stew first, then pulling/pinching off piece of fufu. I then flatten it down a little in my fingertips with my thumb, then clamp some stew up with it kind of taco formation. This is just how I eat it while keeping traditional style with my hands. You could also just use a fork/spoon to eat it and it would not make anyone drop dead seeing you do it. It is just kind of meant to be the edible utensil- like bread to a sandwich or the shell to a taco, that you eat with your hands. Enjoy!

Food was expensive the wait was long and the portions was super small.. Beef was tough!!

BEWARE! BEWARE!! BEWARE!!! I ORDERED PEPPER SOUP AND IT DOESNT TASTE LIKE IT. I should’ve believed the reviews. Disgusting. I trashed it after one tea spoon. Order from else where. Smh. $16 door dash down the drain

I tried the Egusi (if thats how you spell it). It was full of flavor however the meat it came with two choices (I chose chicken and goat)was hard they needed to cook it more I couldn't even pull the wing apart I had to literallyuse muscle and the goat you couldn't bite it. Needless to say after throwing out the meat it was ok.

One of my favorite African restaurants good people right here with very delicious foods 10/8/21

The food is so good, the white yam was warmish cold tho. They give small containers for food, for the price they charge, u will still be hungry. But overall its pretty good. I will return

If I had read d reviews I wouldn't have gone there. Terible food. Jollof rice filled with oil and too much salt

So, I got the curry goat. Mostly bone and fat. More rice to meat ratio and so many plantains. I was upset about my meal. Not to mention I showed up with my family and placed my order. But another family came in about 10 mins later and received their food before myself. I was confused because we most definitely kept hearing for “it will be up in 5 mins” but we waited for a while. And I got my food and the meat was bone and the rice was dry. And there were too many plantains to enjoy it. Photo: what’s left. Too much rice and plantains. The bones and fat I got. Had no meat but some mostly fat though
