Mediocre tacos at best. Got three kinds of taco: chicken, pork, and shrimp. The pork and shrimp tacos were good, but the chicken was very bland and depended on the sauce for flavor to make it enjoyable. The rice and beans were basic and overpriced. The elote was missing the chili powder and lime juice. Finally, the salsa tasted like water slop - it completely lacked flavor. Overall, a pretty disappointing experience at this place. The food was simply basic. On the bright side, the staff was very nice and the restaurant had some cool art.
Just finished an excellent dinner before going to Center Stage! Great proximity to the theater. The food was EXCELLENT with many thanks to CYNTHIA!! ***ALERT!!! IF YOU HAVEN'T TRIED SAN PABLO STREET TACOS SINCE THEY RE-OPENED, HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU DO!!!***I used to live downtown and frequent SPST once a month or so. Food was always decent. I happened to be in the area and found out that they were under new management. I was already there, and I liked the cool atmosphere, so I figured why not?I was ABSOLUTELY blown away by both the food and the service.The new management team—Beka and Cynthia—were so nice and talked my fiancée and I through all of our options. We were hungry (and my fiancée is really picky because she's loves Mexican and wanted to see how they stacked up against other area restaurants), so we ordered pork quesadilla, chicken quesadilla, lengua tacos, chicken tacos, veggie tacos, and chips and guac.Everything slapped!The chicken (which I understand they just added) was especially delicious on both the tacos and the quesadilla. I had never had lengua, but I will definitely have it again. THE GUAC, tho... outstanding. Might be the best guac I've had, and I've had my fair share.Highly, highly, highly recommend!
Such an awesome spot! I had the beef tongue, chorizo, and chicken tacos and all were incredible. Also check out the jalapeno cream cheese dip. 11/10 will be back soon

If you are looking for authentic Mexican food, you need to go here! The lengua tacos are amazing, and the guacamole is some of the best I’ve ever had. The chef and server were so knowledgeable about authentic Mexican food and answered all our questions. I will definitely be back!
Went there for lunch today and had one of each type of taco and couldn't have been more satisfied. The amount of meat to toppings was a perfect blend so no one taste was over powering and they complimented each other well. I will definitely be going back next time I'm in the city!
Delicious, fresh food. The meat was juicy and well seasoned, the sauces were nicely spicy. Will come back.
