worst food ever.. fish was a grease pot burger cooked wrong, appetizer brought out with the meal instead of before. very unsatisfied

After along day my friend and I just wanted to unwind on a busy Wednesday. The in the hole place is adorable and a little hidden. The food options were a little limited. I wanted steamed Seafood, it wasnt available.. The bar tender recommended a Crab pretzel of some sort... i only took one bite..It was creamed white cheddar, with.. butter? Grease? Smothered all over this pretzel with chunks of crab? I'm not sure but I didn't finish it. The water tasted like alcohol too.We were hackled by two older men during our time thereThe bartenders are very sweet and friendly. I wish I could give it all 5 but the food sadly forced the -2
Over an hour for food to come to our table, waitress said she couldn’t walk to first floor to grab a beer and told our party we were limited to whatever they had on the 2nd fl., had to walk downstairs to get our own drinks and waited u til the bartender there finished her conversation 7 mins. Overall, not a great experience. Would have left but we had a tab but our waitress never came back until our food came to our table. Lots of other places to go other than this place. Keep it movin’ if you are down at Fells Point!
Great bar. Awesome mix of music on the weekends! Definitely got all my friends up and dancing. Will definitely be back.
Had the most amazing bridal shower upstairs at Riptide! We had a private space to ourselves, including a buffet and full bar service. Staff was friendly and personable, and the event coordinator was super easy to work with. Overall a wonderful experience!
Hidden gem. I almost don’t want to share our experience because everyone seems to flock to the mediocre places in the area and leave this one fairly empty. Best brunch in town. I would have taken a picture of my food, but I ate it all too fast.
The food is like a five star restaurant, the employees treat you like family. The drinks are delicious, what more could you ask for?

Just attended the Riptide after a public sports league and we were directed here for post league drinks per Volo City. I was warned about their shady charges but just wanted to spend some time with good friends since it was our league sponsor bar. We ordered 4 pitchers as a group (one was free per the volo coupon) and I was charged $80+ for the remaining three (of domestic light beer) . We bought nothing else. The next time I won't make the same mistake. Wasn't worth my time arguing but felt the need to post this. Avoid this dump at all costs. This place is full of crooks.
