Three of us had dinner there last night and we were disappointed in the quality of the meals. Two had the filets and both said the quality of the meat was just OK. In fact, our son insists that his cut was not a filet. My fish dish was dry and lacked flavor. The sangria was good as usual and the desert was excellent. Our server was helpful and attentive but seemed hurried when we asked questions about the menu. We have dined here for the past 40 years and think the place has changed for the worst.

The service was fairly attentive. The table felt a little out of place at first, once service began that seemed less obvious. We were intrigued by the Spainish Coffee and it was a great way to end the meal as an after dinner drink.Service was attentive and consistent, even as the restaurant got bussier in the evening.

Very rich food, just not for me.Highly recommend the potato appetizers as very unique spin on a French fry.Service is better than average and the ambiance is like a over sized cellar with a definite European flare.

We had not been here in ages and arrived to a very unwelcome reception from the hostess. I was thinking that this didn’t seem like a good start. She never said welcome just “name please” and had us wait while she finished her phone call. The waiters were the same way. No smiles.. disinterested.. tired. Never asked if we enjoyed our meal. Never asked if we would like another drink. The food was ok but not stellar. The shrimp and garlic appetizer sat in a cup of some kind of sauce that was too heavy and the shrimp was over cooked. Not ever going back.

Tio Pepe is one of, if not, the best restaurants in Baltimore. It is a special occasion restaurant for me. Have been many times for birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, etc. The menu is amazing and everything I've ever ordered has been GREAT! The Sangria is superb! Can't possibly recommend more!

Very charming. Good service and great food.

We come here for Anniversary or Birthday dinners. The Rockfish is a MUST, topped with crabmeat. We like to get the seafood bisque soup and dip our breads in it. I went with Medallones de Ternera a la Crema co Arroz Salvaje this time, and it was more to my liking. The wild rice is sweet, but I didn't mind that at all. The dish was delicious, I was the only one who didn't ask for a box to take home.

Always good food and good services and excellent sangria ?

Tio Pepe used to be regarded as one of the best restaurants for a special meal. I haven't been in many years, but tonight's dinner disappointed. Chilean sea bass was non-descript, creme brulee had no caramelized sugar, service was painfully slow.Would I recommend this restaurant? No.

Great food and a great place to celerate a special occasion! Highly recommended!
