I don't normally give a low score. The food was on point. However, poor management. Ice machine was down, no ice. So tell me why you can't buy bag ice and keep the soda machine stocked. Another major issue at a chicken joint. No knapkins? How? Why? I have been in customer service management for over 15 years. You have to solve the problems as they arise. We watched a manager of sorts sit and joke with employees while we were not pleased with the lack of important items a restaurant needs to be successful. Also, the soda was flat, no seltzer. I believe a better manager can turn the place around.
Chicken was cooked perfectly, service was prompt, but they filled the order incorrectly. It happens, but we heard several other customers with similar issues. Likely new staff. We'll come back again soon because the food is perfect when you crave fried chicken.
Today June 11th 2022 I went to this Popeyes and had to use the drive through to order my food instead of going inside because the inside was closed,however they were pretty good with getting people their food in a timely manner. The food was great as usual and the lemonade was extra tasty.
Rice and beans are the best part of any Popeyes and when I tell you the rice and beans here tasted like someone actually put fecal matter in the pot. Dry rice and clearly not fresh. A “manager” also tried to confiscate my boyfriends card because they forgot that it was his? Gave us a receipt but not the card? I wish I knew the rice was going to taste so bad before we left because I would have gotten a refund.
We decided to have a family evening out. My nephew loves Popeyes. The evening was a mess. The food was over cook, chicken was dark, greasy and was recooked. We won't be going back to that Popeyes again. Eating out is very expensive. We expect to have quality not messy.
Second time we’ve arrived an hour before closing to be told they “had no food” or “had no chicken”. This was after already placing pick up orders online, no phone call to let us know. Seems like they stop cooking food so they can start closing procedures long before they’re supposed to. Annoying.
Terrible, terrible, worst fast food experience I had in quite some time. Mac and cheese was topped with a crust from the bottom of the pan,Red beans and rice tasted sour. No sauce for my shrimp. No Utensils was provided. Asked for sweet tea gave me coke, Biscuit dry. Asked for aReceipt. Not sure who's receipt was provided. But it was not mine.
First time going there very disappointed, asked for 2frozen lemonades gave me juice instead & mashpotatoes all dried up, cold & nasty gave me no spoonwill never be going back.
Always out of chicken. Always closes early. Such a waste of time even going here. My last 3 attempts I've went they've been out of chicken or closed 2 hours early. I won't attempt to visit this place again.
Absolutely worst fast food experience. It's late and I have a long drive ahead. Since it's late I understand that it's limited staff and the wait will be long. I sat 25 mins in total until I got my food. Supplies were low.... again, I understand. BUT I can only give so many chances. After not receiving a receipt and finally getting a small meal. I began to realize the food I received was not prepared right. First I ate some fries and then realize it had a shimp in mixed with the fries. I am allergic to shellfish!!!!!! Lucky I was able to spit it out instead of swallowing. I still had just enough for a mild reaction. And so that was a huge waste of money and had to tross the fries. I went to clear my mouth with my drink, absolutely horrible warm soda... and I'm like okay, this can't be all of the food Maybe the chicken sandwich okay. Wrong the food was absolutely cold to being under cook. I was so upset it was pointless to even go back! Clearly the manager doesn't check in on staff who is helping the drive thru and food pre just absolutely upsetting, I wasted money for nothing. yes it's like 6 bucks, but 25+ almost eating something that could have made me go to the hospital. As a Google reviewer don't go there at night and for the manager, help your staff and ensure they have supplies and MOST OF ALL DONT MIX SHELLFISH AND OTHER FOODS TOGETHER
