Excellent bakery! So far, this is the best bread that I've had in the United States. The sourdough is vegan. There were three types this time: apricot seasme seed, wheat, and the Baltimore sourdough. The bagels are vegan, but are boiled with honey. I tried the spicy fennel bagels this go around. If you bring treats from this bakery, you'll be a hit at any party!Most things come in compostable bags. Hopefully, they'll work on getting away from single use plastics.This bakery should consider selling bread directly to other restaurants and coffee shops in Baltimore. They could elevate Baltimore dining one tasty gluten snack at a time.Treat yourself today!
It was my first visit here and it was outstanding! A variety of breads, pastries, and breakfast/lunch food! I ordered one of each and they are all lovely! The staff is super friendly and helpful. It takes me 3 minutes to walk here. I will certainly be back for more! Thank you Ovenbird Bakery! ❤️
Opens 8 a.m. Nestled among the townhomes in Baltimore’s Little Italy is an artisanal bakery you must visit. If you’re staying at a Presidents Circle hotel, this is an easy morning walk. My third trip here on as many trips to Baltimore. Get some!
Staff is so friendly and genuine.Don’t be in a hurry if you are stopping in, one person inside at a time.Bread pudding is amazing.

Awesome neighborhood bakery with friendly customer service; Jessie rocks!!!! The warm turkey sandwich was amazing ; the sandwich with ham and fig jam left my colleague speechless. Now lets talk about those chocolate chip cookies-they are everything!!! Unfortunately, no pictures because the decadent delights didn't make it back to the office. I promise I will do better next time...LOL!!!
We found this place by chance, we traveled to Baltimore for a wedding and showed up early on a Saturday morning. Say a bunch of people in line and decided to join in. It was worth the wait, something we are not use to. Great little discovery. My daughter and me loved it!
Great little bakery! The staff is super friendly, and everything I've had from there has been delicious. They have a great assortment of bread, pastries and desserts. The breakfast sandwiches are awesome too - homemade bagels! Don't be worried if the line is long, it moves quickly!
AMAZING scone, fresh baked bagels with cream cheese, really good coffee too. Super reasonable prices too! For an espresso on ice, oat milk latte, and 2 scones it was $16. The staff is so friendly and we will definitely be coming back. Also gave us free samples of the cookies!
The everything bagel toasted with herb CC was excellent, best I've found in B'more to date.Don't forget to ask that your scrumptious treat is cut in half to double your quantifiable enjoyment!
