I loved everything about dinner last night! I will most definitely be coming back! Especially for brunch ð¥³! The food and vibes was most definitely amazing! My new favorite restaurant ð¥°! Plus I loved the way yâall made my birthday amazing!
Noir surprised me!!! Small, quaint and full of neighborhoods life. It looks just as the pictures. This place is full of young adults whos looking for a good time, good environment and plenty of dancing. The ambiance is welcoming. The music choice is perfect for the Rap/Hip Hop/R&B head. BONUS: They offer Hooka & Food. As far as food, I've ONLY tried the steak eggs rolls from the new menu and they were delicious. Kitchen closes at 11pm.
Ambience in energy was cool but the steak egg rolls were trash they look nothing like the picture they were small like egg rolls you get from the freezer section at the grocery store they were not worth the price point the Parmesan garlic fries were OK they needed seasoning in addition to the Parmesan and garlic overall I would go again for the vibe and drinks not food
Very bad experience. Will never go here again. I went here to celebrate my birthday and was greeted with negative attitudes by the servers. The environment is very ghetto. I did an online reservation for 12 and was told after we ordered that the bill could not be split, but they could take multiple payments. When we received our check we could not tell who ordered what and they offer no assistance in helping us to understand the bill. I ordered crab cakes and they was horrible. They burned my friend pizza. The only thing that was edible was the chicken, salad, and drinks. I would never go back here. Very poor customer service!!!!!!
This place opens at 5 on Tuesday, we were there at 6:30pm no one was in the restaurant, no customers at all just us, we were seated, no drinks were offered, I had to ask for water, we had to ask to order food, we got our food, I had shrimp and grits, I had to ask for a spoon, waitress said all spoons were dirty and offered me a plastic spoon to eat with.
My experience was not good at all. Me and my homegirl went to a Noir lounge on 4/15/22. It’s sad that black establishments don’t value customer service at all! The ladies working there are beautiful but zero customer service skills at all! The food was okay and my drink was not good. There was a service charge of 20% added to our check but was not the tip for waitress! Crazy! And we were still expected to tip on top of a 20% service charge!! We then went upstairs to the lounge and was told we could not sit unless we purchased a section smh ??♀️ we had on 6 inch heels!! We went to the hookah part and basically no one came left. I really wanted to have a good experience! I follow the owner and respect his hustle but it’s a lot of work that needs to be done to bring this establishment upscale. Decor does not make something upscale an experience does. Hire people who want to provide your guest a great experience. I probably won’t return at all.
The food was pretty good. I had cream of crab soup as an appetizer and lamb as my entree. My issue is with the aesthetics of the establishment. The dining area is very small. It was over crowded, even though we were seated. The bathrooms are.. scary. The ceiling was literally falling down. There were three stalls, only one had a sliding lock and that lock didn’t work. Not to mention, the door to the bathroom didn't close. My party eventually went upstairs to the hookah lounge and it took ages for someone to take our order. The hookah was unimpressive. I didn’t think hookah could be bad, but it was. Someone threw up between the sections and it took nearly an hour before the vomit was cleaned up. I would order the food to go, I doubt I’d ever dine in ever again. I was quite disappointed.
This is an all around 5 for party-lounge-luxury. The food menu is exceptional every single dish I’ve tried is delicious. The drinks are wonderful. Service is unmatched! They are quick and courteous. They have indoor and outdoor seating great spots for photo ops. Again another one of those great Baltimore gems that people don’t realize exist.
Our waitress Morgan saved the evening! Went for the first time on a Sunday for dinner. Based on the website, I was expecting a restaurant and lounge vibe. Upon entering, I was met with a 5 star hole in the wall bar vibe. Stopped at the desk at the main entrance unsure if it was self seating or not. One of the employees walked by and said nothing. I approached the bar to ask about the protocol. The bartender essential shrugged and gave the impression of I'm just here. Then proceeded to say sit where you want. We chose to sit on the lower level. They were playing smooth 90s/early 2000s R&B. 4 songs passed with no menus or service. As we started thinking about leaving, our server Morgan came to the table. She was extremely friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, provided honest opinions, and very attentive! We tried their wings with the house sauce and lamb which I highly recommend! Also tried their fried rice with honey glazed salmon which wasn't as impressive. Had an opportunity to meet the owner who was also very friendly and service oriented. With the exception of the beginning of the night and bathrooms, it was a 5 star experience!
I attended the Sunday Jazz Brunch on Dec 19 with my girls and was excited because it was our first time coming to Noir. We ordered mimosas which did not come out in your traditional pitcher already mixed. The champagne and juice came out separate. We had to take the bottle to the bar so that it could be opened and then mix the juice ourselves. We thought that this was the norm until we saw other waiters mixing it for their tables. Our waitress later explained that she forgot. Next we placed orders such as shrimp and grits, fish and grits, and chicken and waffles. The shrimp and grits came out in a very small bowl with about 3 scoops of grits and 4 shrimp. There was little seasoning and it lacked flavor. The fish was cold and not fresh at all. It was returned 3 times until we gave up and ordered another chicken and waffles. Overall I give Noir a 2 for the overall esthetics of the lounge and jazz band. I had hoped for better service, but that didn't happen. I hope that they can turn around the food service because it is a nice establishment.
