They have a delicious gluten-free pizza crust option, and they are fully responsible for the realization that I love hot honey on pizza. Who would have known! Also the dressing for their kale salad is pretty good.
This place is located inside of R House. It was my first time to both. R House is a food court style venue with a centralized bar. The pizza was okay, a bit of a long wait. I gave my number to have the pizza ready text notification which was about 25 minutes. The pizza was nothing to write home about, but I didn’t have an issue with the dough like other reviewers mentioned. It was edible. I had a slice of my friend’s crunch vegan pizza as well. I like the pesto base and crisp veggie toppings, but didn’t care for the cream drizzle. There wasn’t much flavor in it. Lastly, there was a live cover band playing at the time of visiting. A bit loud to talk to over, but this place is for you if you’re into that.
One of the best pizza crusts I've had. The regular crust was just crispy enough on the bottom and had a great chewy texture otherwise. The gluten free crust was the best I've had in the US. They also have a cashew based vegan cheese for those with dairy allergies.
They make Great GF & V Pizza though only offer one type of V cheese.
Straight up a rip off pizza bluff. The workers doesn’t know how to either raise or open the dough correctly. You basically get cracker with supper fat cheap quality combination of cheddar and mozzarella on top it.The dough can’t even stay firm and get soggy right away
I’ve been here a few times because I live nearby, the pizza is okay but overpriced and too salty/greasy. The staff is not friendly. They take your phone number and text you when your order’s ready, but otherwise no one will tell you. The last time I was there, cashier must have messed up keying my number in, I never got a text, I never got any indication from anyone my order was ready even though I was the only person waiting there for pickup the whole time. They just let it sit on the counter and let me wait for an hour. When I asked a staff member, their attitude was very standoffish and told me my order was already there I can just take it. I probably won’t patron here again.EDIT: editing to add more to this. In the last 6 months or so I’ve infrequently visited this place, I suspect their employee turnover rate is high (even for covid times). The cashier who served me this time was new and clearly did not know how to use the cashier system, in a noisy canteen with plexiglass and two face masks between us he could not speak louder than a mumble, I just took my best guess of what he was asking me, other employees just looked apathetic, I’m sure this is a management issue. After reading other recent reviews it looks like the quality of service and food has been dwindling pretty consistently for this place. Do with this what you will.
Ordered online and given no indication of estimated time. According to the owner's response, the lack of an estimate is the way it is. We got there within 10 minutes regardless, however our order had just been sitting on a cold counter. Why are they not waiting in a warmer? Pizza isn't that good at all and a low amount of cheese. Cold and had to be reheated. Who would be interested in paying a premium for nasty reheated pizza made with a total lack of care of knowledge about the most basic cooking skills? Not one smile or hello from the staff. Owner's response to this is wholly inadequate on several levels.
Please keep in mind, this review is based off of a single visit to this establishment. Your visit may differ entirely from mine.My overall experience was sub-par and frustrating but at the same time delicious: here's a breakdown:Service:-The human element was VERY POOR. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and assume the individual was new, but here's what happened. The cashier just stared at me while I was trying to place my order and was too quiet to be heard. Another employee had to come over and help them out with taking my phone number (they text you when you're order is ready) and name. The cashier after collecting my order didn't say anything else, just stared off into the distance leaving me to figure out I'm supposed to reach under the acrylic barrier between us to insert my card in the machine. The receipt printed out and the cashier kept staring at me without saying a single word even after I asked for the receipt, so after a short but incredibly uncomfortable moment of being stared at I once again reached through the barrier and tore off my own receipt. I went and found myself a table to sit and wait. I checked my receipt to see what order number I was and discovered a little further down an incorrect phone number. Great. Beyond frustrated, I resorted to periodically 'meerkatting' (standing up and scouting) to see if there were any finished pizzas sitting out. I eventually had my pizza in hand within only a few minutes. The Food:-I ordered the carnivore which comes topped with sliced pepperoni, diced ham, and large sausage chunks. I'll start off the bat giving this pizza a 3/5. Good, but not great. Let's start with the good. The overall pizza came out cooked perfectly with no signs of burning on the meat or cheese. The outer crust was crunchy and pleasant to eat by itself even without additional seasoning. Also, the proportion of meats to cheese was perfect with an even portion of each type of meat. And on to the bad. GREASY. My goodness, when I opened the box the center of the pizza had a pool of orange grease. The crust under this area was so saturated in grease that it came apart when picking up each slice. But that's my only gripe with this pizza. Let the grease drip away, avoid the middle and this is good pizza.Closing statement - I've had substantially worse pizza and I've also had substantially better pizza. I won't tell you to or not to eat here because I've only had one experience. I will say however that the business has room to grow and has the potential to keep up with the big name pizza chains. Personally, I will not be returning any time soon.
Absolutely fantastic Margherita Pizza! Not super fluffy like NY but real damn good for Baltimore. I didn't even get a picture. I smashed it too fast! ? Takes a little patience. There is only one soul doing the work. Wonderful lunch. Highly recommend!
Bad experience overall. First they were out of chicken, not a big deal. Ordered the Parma and veggie supreme. Gave a phone number and name and sat at the bar to wait, server said he would text when the order was ready. After a long wait go back to the counter to find the pizza just sitting there bottom of the box soaked. Parma didn’t have arugula and the veggie was so overloaded with toppings with a soggy crust it was impossible to eat.
