My S.O. came for the happy hour for our anniversary. The restaurant was almost empty and there was no one to seat us at the front desk so we thought we could sit ourselves in one of the 3 empty seating areas we had our eye on.About 3 minutes of us sitting down there was waiter, who turned out to be not our actual waiter, who told us to remove ourselves from our initial seating to one that was closer to the window because of “social distancing” okay. Cool. Fine. After enjoying our meal, it began to get a little busier and those two other seating areas began to fill, specifically the one that we were told to move from and the man was nowhere to be found then but he came to greet them so it seemed as though the social distancing rule suddenly disappeared.Getting the check, we voiced our confusion to our non-waiter man, to which he blamed it on another employee who he claimed only been working there for 3 days and never took accountability.Despite the good drinks and happy hour food and mediocre tap water, we won’t be back.
Very nice atomsphere, attentive servers and delicious food. Recommend if your in the area. Parking lot directly across street.
I just enjoyed a sushi roll made with eel and soft shell crabmeat.I love this place. Excellent service, fantastic food, and HH on Saturdays too.Highly recommend.
My boyfriend and I came here for a date and When I tell u a picture is worth a thousand words. Well hopefully the picture speaks for itself. The atmosphere is awesome. The owners and the employees are amazing. If I can give the atmosphere and the food 10 stars I would.. definitely will go back again
A delicious, bright, and lovely experience- first time here in a veryyy long time but, needless to say, it won’t be nearly as long between this trip and the next.Fresh ingredients populate the dishes along side perfectly blended sauces and dressings. The ginger dressing on the green salad had a little oomph that I still white can’t place, but it made such a difference.Lastly, in addition to a sparkling clean dining room, the bathrooms were extremely clean and well stocked as well. All servers and staff remained masked as well. Truly a comforting and surprisingly affordable spot to eat!
My daughter and I dined here today for HAPPY HOUR-- the sushi ? and curry chicken dumplings were good. I also ordered the tsunami martini. Overall, the service was good; I plan to come back again to try some of their other specialty rolls.
I live around the corner, I work in a restaurant and I love to support local joints. Sadly, once they neglected to include a dish I ordered for take out (the order was small, definitely not more than 3 items). I didn't even try to fix it, I did let them know but it wasn't worth walking back. The next time I got a salad that literally had slime & dirt & obvious black/ rotten spots. I'm sure the sushi is fine because it's kept separately and prepared separately - but there was never an iota of concern for me paying for an item I didn't receive or getting rotting, dirty greens. I sent them a photo of my disgusting salad and they just told me that they take freshness and cleanliness very seriously. I guess I was the exception. I'll never go back there and it kinda makes me sad.
Sushi is is super fresh, staff is extremely friendly.
The steamed beef dumplings were delicious. My husband got the chicken teriyaki which comes with white rice and broccoli. You can tell the chicken isn't seasoned before cooking. 2 bland slabs of chicken with a scoop of teriyaki sauce over them....and his whole meal was completely cold, like it had been finished cooking for 10-15 mins before it was brought out. I got the spicy poke bowl. I'd highly recommend getting the sauce on the side if you get it. The bowl was completely DRENCHED in this sauce. It was so overbearing, and I don't mean the spice level, I just mean the amount of sauce was way way too much, even after scraping off whatever I could from the top. And it really didn't taste great, I wish I'd gotten the regular poke bowl with no sauce at all. Service was slow but I wasn't mad or surprised about that, could only see 2 people working the front of house. Loved the dumplings but probably wouldn't return here for a meal.
We tried Minato a few weeks ago and honestly it was fine. Dispite the large exciting selection they had nothing that really jumped out at us, we tried two bento boxes and again they were fine but nothing to special. The dumplings were extremely good though.
