We’ve had this place before and I initially wasn’t a fan. But this is one of those things you kinda have to play around with until you get it right. The fed hill location is the bees knees because this visit changed my mind! The beef dashi was sooo rich and paired perfectly with the udon. The miso beef was a little too sweet for me. I’m sure with a few more visits I can build the perfect bowl. Definitely recommend!
Must try spicy sambal duck broth!
2nd time going to this place, had a decent fried chicken sandwich but this time ordered ramen. I was surprised to see my order come with fried chicken...it looked and smelled good, but the the wetness of the broth counteracts the crispiness of the chicken. I tried to eat it all at the restaurant but figured maybe it would taste better after sitting and the flavors mix together. Later that evening I reheat and have at it again...I hated the the soggy chicken and end up barfing it all up.??
We love Mi & Yu noodle bar. I had the spicy miso pho with tofu. She has the short ribs in dunk broth with ramen. Perfect dinner on a cold night in January. The restaurant is really small without a lot of seats, but still really cute. We'll be back soon enough. Hope you will as well.
I love the BBQ pork soup with spicy duck broth and udon noodles!!!
Great options. Cozy, hole in the wall joint. The Ramen was filling and there are a couple chairs to be able to dine inside. I had a vegetarian Ramen and my friend the chicken. This place allows you to choose a type of noodle, broth, and protein so the potential is endless especially for meat eaters.
The five spice pork belly is absolutely wonderful. Only downside is very limited seating so be prepared to do take out
i've been doing takeout here over the last year and a half and i'm honestly never disappointed. i generally do the mazemen noodles (brothless ramen) in a savory sauce, and it's always perfect. i've also done the savory miso broth with udon noodles, and it was delicious as well. i've gone through every meat choice for the mazemen and the best is easily the fried chicken, followed by the meatballs, and then the shrimp. least favorite was the miso beef.this place isn't the best ramen i've ever had, but it's ridiculously consistent in the quality of the food and i've never once been disappointed eating here.
Pretty good noodle place. The buns were really good and soft.
Not bad if you are looking to try different types of noodles you've never had before, but if you are more experienced with different cuisines you may wish for some place more authentic. But if you are looking for a quick bite of something different for lunch the food isn't bad.
