We tried their restaurant week menu, felt a bit disappointed. The portion was not generous and the food wasn't brilliant enough to meet our expectations.
Every time we go to Marie Louise Bistro, the food is spectacular and the staff is so friendly and nice. My surprise birthday party was thrown here in June and the staff were in on it! This has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants in Baltimore.
Came for Brunch a few weeks ago and wow was I impressed! My partner and I had a pitcher of delicious Mimosas, then I had the smoked salmon eggs benedict - amazing! and she had the croque madame - which she loved as well. Wonderful atmosphere and very polite staff, we sat outside but the inside was very pretty, we may have to come back for a dinner date!
I cannot remember the last time we were here. But, it is still as good as we remember. The food was very good, and the service was great. Yonna was very attentive and she did a great job. My wife and I each had the Sea Bass special. It was topped with some chopped tomatoes and a beurre blanc sauce. I was a little disappointed in the portion size of the sides. I had six green beans on my plate and a spoonful of risotto, which was very good. I made a reservation through Resy but when we showed up, it was not in the restaurant's system. I'm glad it wasn't crowded when we got there as we were seated immediately. However, it got busy and if our reservation would have been later, we may have had to wait. Could be something for the restaurant to look into to. All in all, it was a great way to celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary.

Wonderful experience and great food. The three course meal menu had a nice variation of options. Enjoyed the wine and atmosphere.Catering staff, attentive and quick with service.
I lived in Baltimore for a few years and just discovered this gem in midtown! My friend and I loved the vibe of this restaurant- the mushroom omelette and espresso martini, both were perfect. The bartender took excellent care of us, as well!
Depression had hit me hard for the past few months, leaving the house felt like a chore. Everywhere I went it was the same atmosphere, terrible radio music and lackluster food. Then I came here and I felt a great relief, this place single-handedly saved my opinion of Baltimore. This place brought soul and class, you could tell they really care.
Food and service were fine.We had a nice French dinner with french onion soup ,very good bread and a nice red wine which was priced right. The menu is still limited due to the pandemic and the homemade pastries are not available for dessert.Good stopping place if are going to or from the Meyerhoff or the Lyric.
I went to this restaurant with friends for desert and coffee after dinner. When we’re about to be seated, the host told us curtly “we don’t serve deserts”. If they changed their menu, this is news to me. If they actually don’t serve deserts, it’s a big problem for a restaurant.
