Came here for date night and was not disappointed. It was a wonderful experience. The food was phenomenal, our server was attentive and fun to talk to, and the atmosphere was intimate but comfortable. Will definitely be coming back again. If you're thinking about trying this place out don't think just do it.
Really excited for a great dinner. Pulled up to the bar at 6 pm. Sat down at 6.40, Meal served at 8.25. Have no idea what happened to our food, but a bit of a bummer. Order was two burgers, scallops and an appetizer shrimp. Food was fine, but not worth the wait. Asked for entrees to be comped and they were, but unfortunately a disappointing experience. Perhaps a Tuesday and an off night, but a complete bummer, illustrated by the fact this is the first restaurant review I have ever written. Best part of the evening was our night cap at the bar at the Prime Rib. Reading all of the other positive review seems like we just hit them on a bad night.
Fantastic dinner for anniversary
From the food, to the service, to the ambiance, everything was stellar
Absolutely loved Magdalena. It was our first time there and it did not disappoint! The chef was on a tomato kick and had beautiful, delicious tomato forward dishes that we loved. I possibly loved that more than the entrees, which were also delicious (pork and rockfish). Thought the tart we had for dessert was fine, but they brought out a scoop of mascapone and that was just wow! The one piece of feedback we had was the service was a little slow. Our server was super knowledgeable, nice, experiencedâ¦just super long periods between checking in on drinks/water and food was way too spaced out. But overall, just a fabulous experience and worth the price!

Celebrating our 55th. anniversary and we could not have chosen a more appropriate dining experience. Dotty, our server was quite familiar with the wines as well as the menu. The corn crusted oysters were "delicate" and delicious. The scallops were cooked to perfection and the tile fish entree was also outstanding. Bread baked on the premises added a little extra enjoyment to our meal. We enjoyed a bottle of viognier, which complemented our meal perfectly. The sorbet medley, a cool and refreshing end to a fantastic meal for our special occasion! All of the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Looking forward to our next visit to Magdalena.
