Went there on 5/13/22, this is by far the worst Jamaican food ever!! I ordered curry chicken for my boyfriend and jerk chicken for me. The rice was dry the jerk chicken was over seasoned, which made it to spicy. Then both plates the food smelled old af.!! The next day my boyfriend and I paid for it. I had to leave work cause there food hurt my stomach. Would never recommend this spot. Not even to my worst enemy.!! I give them minus 5 stars ??????!!
It pains me to write an unjust review on a minority owned establishment but I have a gripe with the food availability and customer service. I've been living 5 minutes away from this establishment (Belair and Luerssen) for 4 and half years and can seem to feel good about ordering food from them. Whether it's them never having pudding or Snapper, to them being unprofessional over the phone and In-Person. I don't argue or go back and forth--- I just walk away. Here is a brief recent anecdotal experience I had with them.Today 5/4/2022 I Just tried to place a order over the phone and the brother asked me if I am paying over the phone or in person. I responded: "Either way it doesnt matter to me", the guy hung up.I called back he stated that he is Super busy and I have to walk in to place an order. I strongly suggest going another place for a better experience and integrity with their food inventory.
This food was amazing , plantings taste good , rice wasn’t soggy and over cooked , the jerk and curry was good . Just 5/5
I didn't like the food the cabbage was ok. I don't like fish and my oxtails taste like cooked fish. Black own due so I will give them 2 stars.
Normally it's fire buuuuuut, the jerk chicken tasted like they pureed and cooks 12 scotch bonnet pepper for the sauce of my dish alone. I couldn't eat it
Always hit or miss. This time rice was little undercooked but curry chicken was great.
Sooooo good. The meat was falling off the bones and the flavor is amazing. Looking forward to my next meal.
Hands down this is one of my favorite Jamaican spots in Baltimore they don't disappoint very good food
Food was really good enjoyed it. It was nice and hot and it tasted like NY Jamaican food. Would share a picture but already ate it
The food was well seasoned. I had the jerk chicken platter with ‘white meat’ and also ordered the oxtail platter. I was irked that they were out of fried plantains AND cabbage but it wouldn’t be a Jamaican spot if it wasn’t out of something.
