Service is excellent! The caprese salad and crepe marseille are delicious - would definitely order again. Ambiance outside is very pleasant, relaxing and enjoyable!!
Came on a business trip and so happy we found this place on the way to the Preakness! So delicious! Great vibe, great food! Definitely coming back. Excellent bloody Mary and crepes!
Crepes are good, atmosphere charming, service dismal. Almost walked out without paying because it was impossible to get anyones attention to get the check. The owner finally brought the check and said it had to be paid by card (done on your phone) - he was too busy to take cash - and oh by the way the tip was already included! He was grumpy about it too. Not sure we’ll go back, lots of other places to get crepes.
We will never order from this place again. They did not honor our online order when we placed it the night before. When I talked to the owner 30 minutes after our order was supposed to be ready, he said he was “very overwhelmed” so he didn’t even start on the order. I was appalled from the unprofessional behavior of the chef and the restaurant staff as they were not honest with me about the status of my order when I initially walked into the restaurant. I wish at least they would’ve rejected the order right away or gave us a call before we arrived to the restaurant. Please be aware before you order anything online.
Steak was amazing, portions were huge, service excellent. They had no decaf coffee which was disappointing. And our table for two was in a high traffic area which was just slightly annoying. But I would not hesitate to eat there again.
Amazing food and service! Huge portions and all well made. If you like creole food, this is your place. The drinks are fantastic and well crafted. We ate so fast, that my pics are of half eaten food.
French onion soup, lentil soup, steak fritas, crepe florentine and a creme Brule and it was all delicious. I wish more people would come here. The owner was super kind and we will definitely be going back for date nights. Support small businesses!
Very enjoyable and to my surprise not crowded and we still got our food quickly. All in all a very good first French dinner my wife and I had.
Totally Delish on all levels! The Potato Leek Soup tasted like a creamy hot mix the bread was toasty and soft and when I soread the butter on it oh my! I had the Valentine's Day Special the fush stuffed crab meat with rice but the SAUCE was tantalizing! The Ambiance was cozy low lighting however no background music Im from NY so I think some soft jazz other tgan that it was all love!
Le Bistro Du Village is the closest thing to a trip to Paris in the region. The Crepe Marie-Antoinette and Crepe Norvegienne were overwhelmingly evocative - created with fresh ingredients and delicately prepared. The interior of the bistro is equally reminiscent. This is a difficult review as I would prefer to keep this wonderful secret to myself. But for the chef to continue creating such gems during this pandemic requires divulging. Eat, savor, repeat.
