This cute place is tucked right off of Baltimore Street. Nice atmosphere and their prices are very resonable. The bill was less than $50 per person for 10 adults with several drinks. Plus, we got a free champagne toast. We appreciated the service in the city and we probably will be back.

Luckily I stopped by here for dinner a few nights ago, and enjoyed some of the best Mexican cuisine I've ever had. The bar was very extensive and had great drinks, including a dragon fruit Margarita. The ceviche was beautiful, fresh, and really terrific. Don't miss out on the churros, they are the best I have ever had. The chocolate sauce that comes with is almost an afterthought, the churros definitely take center stage.

The service is very good, for this reason they are the 3 stars.I had a reservation for 7pm. I arrived on time and they did not have the table available, we had to wait outside for more than 10 minutes. The food is too spicy for my taste, we ordered ceviche as a starter, my wife couldn't eat it and I couldn't appreciate the flavor of the fish because of the spicy dressing.Main course. My wife ordered Salmon and she really liked it a lot. I ordered a BBQ Lamb and again you can't appreciate the flavor of the meat because of the spicy sauce it had. I also thought when ordering BBQ Lamb, it would be a grill meat but on the plate it seemed to be slow cook or stew lamb.I understand that Mexican food is spicy, which is precisely why I ordered dishes that are not theoretically spicy (and there was no warning about this on the menu either).

I had to come on here this morning to write a review. I woke up thinking about the food and drink I had last night. Everything was phenomenal! The shrimp ceviche, salmon, and flan were so mouth watering! I also ordered a pomegranate margarita. I’m not a huge fan of margaritas, but this was the BEST margarita I’ve ever had. It made me feel like I was sunbathing on a exotic beach. I will be back; maybe today!! :)

OMG! Honestly the most amazing Mexican I've ever eaten. Everything was so fresh and delicious. I went out of my comfort zone with my choices based on Luis' recommendations and I am so glad I did. Service was superb and the margaritas are to die for with house made syrups. If I could give more stars I would.

Came to La Calle to check it out for Baltimore's Winter Restaurant Week. While we did not partake within the Restaurant Week selection, we had a delightful dinner. Service was friendly and attentive without being overly invasive. The guacamole was a great way to start and compliment our drink selection well. Dinners were flavorful and just delightful. Then dessert - tres leche cake... delightful. We were thrilled and are already looking forward to our return - perhaps with a visit to the Chesapeake Shakespeare Company for one of their productions. I know it would be a night out to remember!

Best tequila and mezcal drinks in Baltimore by far, they remind me of when I lived in Texas. Food is great as well, my husband and I keep coming back for more. We love this place!

We have had two amazing dinners here and this is fast becoming one of our favorites. On South Steet just north of inner harbor. Great margaritas, guacamole, authentic Mexican. Friendly and attentive staff. Owner Luis made some great recommendations including the NY strip and my Barbacoa de Cordero. Try the Mezcalita...

Tasty foods, great prices. The only thing I didn’t like was the owner (or at least I believe he was) walking around staring at customers like he’s trying to intimidate them. It was weird.Other than that great experience.

My husband are Mexican food snobs and LOVED this restaurant. Easy to park (that was my main concern about going downtown) and delicious tacos. I loved my Mezcalita as well. Highly recommended!
