Ordered and finished 4 Large Crab orders with family. I love how they cooked it with Old Bay Seasoning. When they say it's large, it is really what it is. Definitely going back. Served with wooden mallet and knife. And they let us eat it with our owned cooked rice from home and homemade Filipino Sauces.
Our family has been enjoying crab at LP Steamers for almost a decade. We keep coming back because we get reasonably priced steamed crab, good service and a comfortable place to eat. We also order bits of fried seafood, fish and sides(especially the cole slaw) which give us a nice bit of variety. We like the location, fairly close to the Inner Harbor. More beer choices would be great but our beer drinkers found one they enjoyed, so that worked out okay. Good place for young children.
This was my 1st time here. I'm from Maryland, I love shellfish and all types of seafood.In my opinion, they have mediocre service and tight seating but it's not the worst place to get really good seafood. Our crabs came out hot, juicy and fresh. The crab soup was flavorful although it could have used more crab.Delish though ?I do wish their was a way to cut down on the flys.
The food was great. We were traveling on our way back from Chesapeake Bay and specifically went through Baltimore to eat here because the food was amazing the last time we were here. However, 6/21/22 must not have been the opening manager, or whoever she was, day. We could hear her arguing with staff about where stuff was and all that from the kitchen. We were the only ones in the place as we came right at 11. All we wanted was a peaceful lunch, not listening to her. We could hear everything word for word. Very disappointed.
This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool but the servers are also great and always efficient, happy and polite. If you have a chance to sit in Crystal’s section she makes the experience 10x’s better. She is so knowledgeable and will always make great recommendations for our family when it is their first time visiting. She knows what she is doing and what she is talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is her main priority. We always go to LP Steamer's when we have family in town. Everyone truly has the best time and always raves about the food. We are so fortunate to have this place just a block away from our home. Food is always on point, both the Maryland blue crabs and snow crabs are amazing. Wine selection is great and awesome selection of beers. Love this place and will continue to visit.
The food was so good! Some of the tastiest crab I've ever had! We got one ginormous crab, a caesar salad w/crab cake, and the fried seafood sampler. My date was disappointed that the ginormous crab wasn't so ginormous and had too little crab meat to enjoy. Overall, great place, organized waiting online system, and would recommend to anyone craving seafood!
Pretty good seafood spot in Baltimore. The restaurant looks like it was row house that was renovated. Crabs are really fresh, but bit salty for my taste. Their seafood platter and snow crabs are also delicious.
Definitely a 10/10 spot went there around 7:30 for dinner !! Food was awesome and in good prices I got a crab cake for 18$ with a 2 dollar add on for fries and coleslaw. Recommend getting there early just because wait times are crazy. Service was awesome I was there 5/21 and sitting on the first floor outside the server was amazing but sadly I can’t remember the young girls name she was tall and skinny. I’m definitely coming back!!!
Excellent seafood place. The oysters are fresh. The cream of crab soup is a little bit too thick but still very tasty. The crab cake tastes as good as it looks. Parking available on the main road and plenty on side street. But the side street is hard to get to unless you are familiar with the area. In fact our waitress Crystal used a cellphone to give us turn by turn instructions to get to the side street. That was very nice of her. We were at the restaurant at the end of April. They had just increased the price of some dishes but the increase has not yet been reflected on the menu. In fact just now I checked their online menu and it is still showing the old prices.
Must go for the crabs and (steamers) Clams!I’ll get the boat load or trio next trip here…We orders the crab dip and crab cake too! Have a few $ to spare, get the lobster too. Great seafood pit stop from NJ to DC.
