Parking is difficult even for a late lunch! Stopped in to Fells Point while heading south on 95. So many taverns and restaurants to choose and so many with outdoor seating. I had the crab cake on brioche with a side of freshly fried chips, my wife had the crab cake platter with fries. Both very good and filling. Friendly, well trained staff. Seems like everyone who has lived in or near Baltimore knows the best place. Always a good plan, but sometimes just walking in can be good too.

Food was good, but we had to wait a long time for our server to... never quite come.Highlights were Mark (the barback who was busting his butt helping out and it was great to watch him work, he'd be a great server). Jill helped us out despite her section being inside, it was her first day off training. She did good, too.Burger and sweet potato fries were good, but the salad was nothing special. However, I feel like the food was too expensive for what it was and for the service to have been missing without our pushing for it.If we were close close by, we may try again, but may opt for trying other places first. I'd say 3.5/5 stars, but Google doesn't allow for half-stars, unfortunately. So I think it's 3.Good luck to Mark and Jill, though, we appreciated them and they were the best part of our meal.

Very disappointing waste of time, going on a mid day stroll in Fells Point with our 5mo old, we decided to give Koopers Tavern a try given how good the food looked walking by. The server was very inattentive, however elected to simply pay and leave after waiting an hour to receive two cold burgers one of which was the completely wrong order. As new parents time is such a precious thing, needless to say we will not be returning.

Matt’s oysters are devine

I used to work for the Kooper's Restaurant Group for over 4 years and have nothing but great things to say! The food is always amazing and I miss getting a chance to eat there every day! They change the menu up a bit every several months or so which is great and even after all that time I never got tired of eating the food day after day. The bar has a great vibe and I like to think some pretty great bartenders and servers. They usually have weekly specials and even more offerings for special events like Oyster Fest, Mardi Gras & St. Patty's Day, as well as for football, baseball and soccer games. The only reason I even left working there was to start my own bar (come check it out at Whitehall Mill!) or else I would probably have been a Kooper's employee forever.... But I'm happy to be a fan and extremely satisfied customer for life instead! And yes, these are all actual pictures of the food that I personally took while working there... It tastes every bit as good as it looks!

My favorite place! I got the vegetarian burger and the truffle fries. The service was impeccable. They immediately came outside and greeted us and showed us to our table. The drinks came out fast and once our order was in we didn't wait long. The food was the best! Don't miss this place. Pet friendly and let us order them a beef patty off the menu too

Good was pretty good. I thought the (famous) gumbo had entirely too much seasoning. It tasted like chili....just not my preference for gumbo. The blackened Ahi tacos were really good but again not amazing.

One of the best taverns I’ve been to! I could go there every day… We had the Fried mac & cheese, which was OK, but the Aji tuna appetizer was to die for as were the steamed shells, the Caesar salad with shrimp, the crabcake and the baked bison burger was absolutely delicious! The atmosphere reminded me of the taverns that we see in the movies… The service was impeccable and the prices were a little steep but understandably so. I would gladly revisit again and highly recommend it!

The Baja burger was amazing especially if you add jalapenos. Food was fast, fresh and Tasty. Today they're at Crooked Crab Brewing Co., perfect match with the beers. Will definitely order again

Had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts. I've had better. The brussel sprouts seemed like they came from the frozen section of a local grocery store. The mashed potatoes were good but it reminded me of a mixture of boxed and fresh combined. Nothing was seasoned. I was given salt and pepper, but I've honestly never had to reach for them.I started off inside, but moved outside.I like the food truck better.Gave my still hot leftovers to a homeless man on my way out.My server was absolutely adorable and sweet.
