Food is HORRIBLE! Along w customer service very rude Koreans who gave me the wrong food and offered no refund or to remake food??
If I could give less than 1 star would. This kind of exploitation of black American culture needs to end. Kimmy's is basically a Korean operated Soul Food restaurant. These folks do not know how to cook black American cuisine but we continue to patronize these places. The chicken tasted like chitterlings, the max and cheese was boiled in a pot not really baked, with melted cheese on the top. The chicken was also made from frozen and not fresh chicken. Sweet potatoes unseasoned, and turkey wings undercooked and underseasoned along with the watery pot roast.
Food is horrible. I don’t know why people hype this place up. I guess our taste buds are different. Did not enjoy a single bite of food.
I go here for a quick Breakfast sandwich but I see people getting their pre-cooked food so I assume it's good just never tried it myself
It's my spot when I want soul food. They ask to wear a mask and glove when you get your food which I appreciate. The food is good and the corn bread.Wish they would switch the dishes up. The menu at the food bar NEVER changes so it gets tiresome to me. But I like that I can get what I want in whatever portion I decide.My fave is the pork with sour kraut. Sweet potatoes have too much sugar! ?
Fried fish fresh meatloaf in water yuk you have to pick and choose good luck lol
For this location to be in the middle of the hood its surprisingly clean and professional and the food is good and hot and they're very nice surprisingly!

My Mom just ordered from there. The only thing I enjoyed was the fish. The cabbage was over cooked and soggy and dark and the macaroni and cheese was not good i dont even think black people are really cooking this food and if they are they should be ashamed of themselves. My mother said the greenbeans were oily and yams were bland, and the dinner roll was dry and bland. I do not recommend.
Great place for some soul food, quick fast and Good.
