It was a very small restaurant, but when I went it was raining so the place was empty. The sushi was very delicious and stuffed with tons of ingredients! I took off a star because they don't add their 15% increase due to inflation on their menu and our bill came out higher than expected. Otherwise, it was good customer service and their sushi was good.
Feel like it's a hidden gem in the area. The shop isn't appealing at all but the sushi are very tasty and unique. Unlike the American sushi it has a Japanese style to it and the chef is Japanese. Would go again for sure.
We came right after they opened, and we had to wait a little bit for our order, however it was well worth the wait! The portions were very generous and actually much larger than other places I've been to. Well worth the price! I think this is the best sushi I've tried in a while and we do try a new place every 2 weeks. Great experience.
The owner (?) was very generous with the service. The rolls were delicious and stuffed full. Because of supply chain issues everything is 15% more expensive but it was worth paying the extra for what we got. Great experience.
Best sushi in baltimore!!! We tried so many other places, but Kiku is still the best. Good quality, consistent, delicious. Would highly recommend and continue to support this small business.
Ordered Crunchy Spicy Tuna Roll, Spicy Salmon Roll & Shrimp Tempura Appetizer. ALL AMAZING I’m so glad they’re doing Spicy rolls the right way and not using sweet thai chilli sauces or grounded salmon meat…. Fish was super fresh and generousWhen I came to dine in I was told that the wait would be 45 mins (it was longer but it’s ok) and while waiting I noticed everyone who came in were pick up orders or delivery people. Rush hour didn’t stop till they closed! So some advice would be to order at the start of dinner service or do pick up orders
Best sushi I've ever had hands down. Expect a wait but it is well worth it! Every roll is crafted with love and care. The freshness and quality is unmatched. I don't think I can settle for sushi any where else now. Kiku is truly a hidden gem
Best sushi I've had in Baltimore. (Too calibrate that statement, I've tried ~10 sushi places in and around Baltimore, and I've had *good* sushi outside of Baltimore.) I especially like their salmon sashimi and spider roll.
This is our go-to place for sushi. By far the best place in Baltimore. They have a simple yet extensive list to meet anyone's tastes. The tiger roll is to die for! It's run by such a sweet family that really cares about the quality of the food. If you order for dinner, be prepared to wait a little longer than expected because they are always CRAZY busy...which is a good sign!
Everything was really good. Got an order of vegetable tempura which was perfect. Had just the right amount of tempura batter, perfectly fried and not greasy. Also got the volcano roll and Marcus roll. Both were delicious. Will definitely become my go-to spot for sushi.
