I used to Absolutely love Judy’s but not no more they fell completely off service is horrible food not hot cabbage undercooked chicken is dry as the Sahara desert need I say more I’m NEVER EVER eating there even if they gave it away for FREE they get one star because the Island blast drink was good
I ordered the oxtails and it came with rice and cabbage. The oxtails were basic/good. I prefer my cabbage softer. I also ordered a side of plantains which were delicious. I didn't have to wait long for the food. The price was competitive to other similar restaurants.
Got the fried wings, oxtail with rice and cabbage. The cocoa bread just taste like bread ppl had me thinking it was more that's why I wanted to taste it. The crab cakes qere good.
The food was okay. The pineapple ginger drink is excellent!! I waited 10 minutes to order and over 25 minutes minutes to get my food.
Every now and then i go searching for new Jamaican spots, it was Judy's turn. Here goes the review, i usually get a bunch of dishes to have a general grasp of the spot. I bought beef patties, pineapple ginger, Jerk Chicken, Curry Chicken, and Jerk Pork. Beef patty was really good, pineapple ginger was good, the jerk chicken was atrocious because the chicken was really dry, either it had been sitting under a lamp or day old. The spicy jerk was not spicy but take that with a grain of salt from my perspective. The curry chicken was ok, i have had better, the jerk pork was really good, i enjoyed that one. I will check them out again, and hopefully the jerk chicken was just off that day
Horrible customer service, burnt patties. Also, it doesn’t take 2 people to make 3 small orders. Nor should it take 20 mins to get 2 half warm patties. I’ve been here numerous times, the customer service is hit or miss and so is the food, but mostly both are on the miss side. Save your money. This is the last time for me.
Oxtails and Macaroni and Cheese. Oxtails we’re not flavorful just greasy, no meat on them and a weird aftertaste. The Mac and Cheese was just boxed. No real taste, really disappointed in both. Hopefully they will hire a better cook or revamp the menu.
I got jerk chicken w/ red beans and rice and it was little to no meat on it. And I didn’t like the after taste!.
I ordered food from this restaurant through a third party delivery service. Once I ordered I waited almost an hour and 35 minutes for the restaurant to then cancel my order. I believe that the drivers and the restaurant were unaware that I could see what was going on from GPS tracking. I watched the delivery driver a Latino male go to the restaurant and then leave, the drivers were then switched to another driver who was traveling from an opposite direction to the restaurant and then it was canceled. Prior to this incident the third party service had refunded my money about two weeks ago, because the food was leaking all over the driver's car and through a paper bag. I definitely think that this restaurant waited in order to retaliate. Which is really not a good idea.
