I couldn't wait to get to Baltimore for the food from here. I've always had good food and good service but not today. I was asking the lady a question and she turned and walked away. Another employee walked up bit didn't even acknowledge that I was there. Needless to say I left. I can spend my hard earned money elsewhere ?
At 1st their food was delicious. I would always come here for my jerk chicken, rice pea & cabbages. Every Friday, now the last 2 Friday my food wasn't right, I order the same things, Friday June 17th this time rice was dry wasn't enough chicken 2 small pieces and no cabbages ? last Friday June 24th was my last time there, I order something different curry chicken with rice pea and cabbages, they gave me white rice a spoon full of cabbages (for a 1 year old) this is not what I order at all I was so upset I gave my food away, NEVER AGAIN.......I should jad check my food but I didn't.
Tried calling the phone over 20 times ( not exaggerating) finally got an answer and asked if the phone is not working properly because I had been calling for a while and the lady on the phone is gonna reply with attitude saying "obviously because you on it now!!!" Like seriously???? And I made it clear that this isn't the first time since the phone kept ringing with no answer for 3 mornings in a row! I literally said thank you and didn't order anything! Sorry but I don't want any food to consume from an angry bird at all, miss me with that attitude!!!
Worse customer service experience ever. These employees need to be trained. Third time I'm coming here as a Caribbean person and you would think their level of customer service would improve that it might just be a one off experience unfortunately it's their habit. Employees uninterested in taking your order answering your questions and even terrible in preparing your order. Do not recommend this restaurant at all.
I had the Oxtail?, I love Oxtail only if it's done right ✅, I was happy to have it. Until I tasted it. I'm a Diabetic and I don't eat spicy food. Normally Oxtail is not spicy . I couldn't enjoy my food, I couldn't finish my food, it had me coughing ? . So juice that I got was super sweet Mango /Passion Fruit, gave me an instant headache. Both items had my blood sugar high. Never Again not for me. I'm from the Caribbean and couldn't take it. Not everybody can make Oxtail good.
I placed a catering order, 2 days before my event. paid and was told to pick up on Friday @ 11:30am, got to restaurant, no one had any idea that the order was placed and the food was not ready, so I had no food fror the event that started in 1 hour, VERY DISAPOINTED IN THE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!I will not support them again!!!!!!
Food was truly bad today. I don't feel the Caribbean love in this food at all. Jerk Chicken had no flavor, mac and cheese was not as good as in other locations. Wasn't worth a $20 lunch....
Worst Jamaican food I’ve ever had! The White meat is so dry and tough! The jerk sauce is a gravy texture. The cabbage is hard. If you want gentrified Jamaican food here’s where to go.
I went here to get some lunch and it was ok. As a person of Caribbean descent, if you have rice and peas on the menu and the customer requests it, than that is what should be given. Not rice with mixed vegetables. It tasted ok but it was false advertising to say least ?.
DO NOT!!!! I REPEAT. DO NOT Eat from here. The health department needs to be called. I ordered oxtails, almost $24 and why am I up at 5:40 am? I BEEN UP SINCE 2:30 am feeling sick. I threw up and what came out? The oxtail dinner. DO NOTTTT eat from here if you don't want to be sick or get food poisoning. And the food was of course not good so to top it off none of it was a good decision.
