Met a friend yesterday for breakfast at the IR. As usual, the food was great but what really impressed me was the entire staff. First the hostess (I am so sorry I didn't get her name) was sweet enough to see if there was a booth for me and my friend (sadly No) but then she offered to do a walk by to see if anyone in a booth was near the end of their meal (again No). Once seated at a great table, our server, Jayelle (I hope I have her name correct). She was amazing. She was warm and friendly. She didn't rush us, even though we were there for quite some time. She made sure we knew about the Happy Hour specials -- steering us to the crab dip and of course the half-price Roos Tarts. She even brought us a second plate for the entre we decided to split. Our coffee and our water were never empty. All around she took amazing care of us. There was also another server on the floor who even came by once in a while to see if we needed anything. You hear all the time about a labor shortage and restaurant staff not taking care of customers and not liking their jobs, but yesterday we witnessed to complete opposite of that. The staff on duty yesterday worked as a team and put the customers first. It was wonderful to see. Bravo to the entire staff. Without a doubt one of the best experiences I have ever had at any IR location. We will be back.

I always enjoy the breakfast at Iron Rooster. I usually get the crab hash, which I ordered again, and as always, did not disappoint. Also got the breakfast egg rolls this time which were tasty. And we tried the biscuits with gravy which had a hair in it, but the manager took care of it and comp’d our meal. The replacement was good. Our server was Kanisha. She was attentive and great. Great service and response to our concerns. Would definitely return and recommend.
Excellent food! Very polite and quick service, except for the end, waiting for the check, when it got busier. Slightly over priced. However, I highly recommend Iron Rooster!

The food was good but the service was slow and disorderly. I’m not sure if they didn’t write things down correctly but they brought the wrong drinks and may have forgotten about one because we had to ask multiple times. It wasn’t busy when we went there but it took a very long time to get our order.
There were plenty of available tables, service was fast, food was good, parking in nearby retail garage was free.
Iron Rooster in McHenry Row is one of my favorite spots for a business lunch. The food and service are excellent and the ambiance is nice, but casual.
