I stayed in room1141I love the location of this HR so I have given it several chances however this hotel is very dysfunctional.First, the good....the location is fantastic.  Located right in the Inner Harbor and a very quick and easy walk over to the aquarium. The lobby and glass elevator are beautiful. The bed and bedding are comfortable and the room has a sound machine which was a great touch to help with all of the city noise. The pool isn't huge but it's nice and a great outdoor setting. The front desk staff member i spoke with during daytime hours was very friendly and professional. The bad....I booked the room through the globalist concierge and I asked them to request to have a crib set up in the room. I called myself the day of booking to confirm the hotel had this request.  I then called the hotel the day of our arrival to let them know we would be arriving past 9pm and our baby would already be asleep and asked if they could please make sure to have the crib setup in our room before our arrival - I was told this wouldn't be a problem however when we arrived about 5 hours later there was no crib. I called down to the front desk about 5x in the 20mins after my arrival but my calls were never answered so I had to go back down to the desk with my infant son. There were about 4 employees just chatting with no guests nearby so I'm not sure why they weren't able to answer the phone. I explained that I needed a crib asap as by this time my 8 month old was wide awake again. They acted surprised that it wasn't in the room and said they would look into it and have one sent up as soon as possible which apparently asap at this hotel was 2 HOURS LATER, which was well past midnight. No apologies from the staff.  All of us woke in the night burning up and when we looked at the AC unit it said 87 degrees so we again called down for it to be serviced.  This time they came right away and the man that worked on it said "the ac cold door wasn't open" so it wasn't blowing cold air at all. Within a few minutes of him leaving we had a nice cool room. Typically I love breakfast at HR properties however when we arrived we were told breakfast was buffet only. Not a problem until we tasted it... everything seemed like it had been sitting out for a very long time. Despite only 2 other tables being used there was no table to sit at because they had not been cleared from previous guests so we had to seat ourselves on the bar side. I'm not sure if its because we were on the bar side and he forgot about us or we were purposely ignored but we were never able to get a coffee refill during our 30+ minute breakfast.  I frequent HR properties and this is my first truly bad breakfast experience. Lastly, parking on an award night as a globalist is supposed to be included however their garage attendant told us that they couldn't accommodate our van so we had to park across the street at the Sheraton lot ($35)I typically receive exceptional hospitality and service from Hyatt Regency properties but this hotel is the exception.

This hotel has a beautiful facade. You’d think you were walking into 4 stars from the lobby but upon closer inspection you start to see some issues. We were transferred to two separate rooms and BOTH rooms were unbearably hot. it couldn’t get below 77 degrees in the room despite having the ac run for hours with the curtains closed. in fact, during noon the entire hotel seems to have an issue with their air conditioning. not only that, they seem to have a serious gnat issue. ordered a drink from the bar to be greeting by a gnat in my drink. our second room had tape up in the wall to catch gnats. wallpaper in the bathroom was lifting due to no ventilation in the bathroom. the doors were dirty and sticky probably again due to the lack of ventilation in the bathroom. toilet seat was incredibly low to the ground. but the staff was professional. if you eat something here just make sure it’s cooked that way if something did land on it at least the bacteria would be cooked off.

Positives: Hotel gives the outside appearance that it is very nice lobby, restaurants halls beautiful. Staff members were very friendly and helpful. Location is AMAZING but the bridge to the pier on the pier side had no working elevator so traveling with a baby stroller was tough. Negatives: Room was not updated and basic. It was 80 degrees in our room the entire time even thou we turned the AC onto 68 so literally we cooked the entire stay with my baby. The pool was supposed to stay open until 10 but closed at 8 and the fire pit apparently never worked even though they post it on their website.

I picked this hotel because of the close proximity to the aquarium. I would like to give it a 5 star but was turned off because there wasn't any washcloths in the room when we checked in so I asked the front desk for some and she stated she would send someone to our room. A few minutes later there was someone at our door but he stated that they didn't have any washcloths and handed me two hand towels and stated that I could use it in place of a washcloth due to not having any? I don't know if this meant that the hotel didn't have any at all or if there wasn't any clean ones? I assume not at all due to not having a single washcloth in the room upon check in. Other then that the hotel was really nice, love the elevator. The parking was great and was attached to the hotel. You have to pay to park but its expected in this area.

The employees made it excellent, along with other kind hotel guests. Yes, it needs refurbishing, yet when there is a "Miss Penny" who understands we are disabled and treated us so very well for some delicious breakfasts that matters more than a few stains on a carpet. The bartender was gracious when I asked for a scotch after my husband had a small hissy fit which upset me. I gave the Porter who took our luggage down a $20 tip. He arrived promptly did his job politely and I so enjoyed his reaction. The Front Desk Staff was always willing to give us more bottled water and coffee pods.None of these individuals had to be so cheerful and helpful. They did it because of who they are. I believe they are grateful for their jobs, hopefully enjoy working for the Hyatt Regency and are, quite simply, just kind, good people. We had a wonderful time.

This is hard to narrow down. I stayed 4 nights recently for work. The location is fantastic, very convenient to the Inner Harbor activities. All the staff were friendly and helpful. All the meals I enjoyed as part of our meetings were delicious and well presented. Those are the good points. I stayed 4 nights. Not once was our room serviced. I asked at the front desk and was told rooms are only cleaned every third day? And yet the rooms across the hall were serviced daily. There is only 1 tiny rubbish bin in the bathroom that was soon overflowing. I looked for 1 near the ice machine but found none. The shower was lovely, but only provided water that was either boiling or freezing, nothing in between. You had to decide each morning whether you wanted to freeze or boil. I opted one evening to have dinner in the Bistro 300 restaurant. The maitre'd told me to pick a table, which I did. And then waited. And waited. After nearly 15-minutes I left. On the lift back to my room there was a large advertisement for room service. "Just look at the menu in your room and call for service." Looked in room: no menu. Dinner that night consisted of some snacks I had in my bag. Would be hard pressed to recommend this hotel.

Staff was extremely nice and helpful, room was clean and a great view of the harbor. Great location and room rate was more than reasonable. Only gripes were very minor - was getting more towels was challenging, wish the restaurant offered more in terms of a kids menu but they were very accommodating.

Great Staff, clean rooms, good food.

Business meeting accommodations were on point. Food was delicious.

Remember to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ when booking your room. They compare hundreds of hotel sites and typically will have rooms much cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This resort is one of my favorites in the area. I have been staying here for a long time. If you choose this place you won't be disappointed.Wonderful friendly, helpful and courteous staff. Clean facility and room, nice Bistro and beautiful view of the harbor from our room. Loved it! Can't wait for our next visit in the summer! Nice activities for the kids to do as well in the area.
