All of the food we ordered was amazing! Had the French toast with banana, chicken and waffles, biscuits, shrimp and grits. Portions were plentiful and it was more than enough for the four of us. Also, the service was phenomenal! Can’t recommend it highly enough!
So good. All around . We literally just left. A Saturday brunch and not at all crowded.The lump Crab cake in “The Baltimore” plate was deeeeelicious. The biscuit with the compote… *chefs kiss*. The Ray Charles cocktail was pretty good it’ll sneak up on you because it tastes like juice or there was very little Alcohol in it..?The service was wonderful. They were attentive.10/10 would recommend and I WILL be back next time I’m in Baltimore.
Absolutely delicious and a wonderful atmosphere!! Family got Down n Dirty (pictures) and Full Monty, as well as biscuits and grits on the side — so delicious. The food is very filling but the portions are reasonable! And highly recommend the banana pudding for dessert ?
Finally made it here for brunch. The chicken and waffles were really good however my fried chicken was extra "cajun". The biscuits with the mixed berry compote were delicious as was the grits.
I took my out of town from down south family there for brunch. First time for all of us and I must say I was impressed. From the decor ,the staff and the food . EXCELLENT. The only downfall would be the size. It's a small space . They had a steady flow of customers from dine in, the breakfast bar and carry-out. I noticed this before I even tasted the food so my expectations were high. I was not disappointed.
I am not a food expert, but have rediscovered in this charming, independent restaurant the meaning of souf food. Ive tried the breakfast sandwich and the biscuits and fell in love with their grits. Staff is super nice, orange juice is actually made with oranges, and their watermelon and cucumber water is the bomb. Amazing place.
OH MY GAWD!! How come I've never been here before. So good. Pricey but worth it. They got the best creamy grits.

At 1pm they were sold out of what we really wanted catfish and crab cake...What we ordered food was Terrible. Chicken burnt, Salmon burnt, creamy grits...DRY, Tiny portions of shrimp and Grits, tiny glasses no free refills. Sent chicken back and they came back and say they ran outta chicken too. Rules on the table says this is a couple restaurant won't seat more than 6 people, Cash ONLY, No food substitutes, the food is what it is, and an hour limit at table from the time you order. Yeah wont fet our money anymore....Our waitress April was really nice.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The service was superb. The food selections were in abundance and delicious. You won’t be disappointed. Even the drinks are delicious and refreshing. The biscuits are a problem all by themselves.
