One of the best coffee shops in baltimore.Amazing, delicious coffee and a wonderful food program too. I can’t help but buy something from their shop when I visit.

Good Neighbor is our go to spot. We drink our coffee in the morning there. Shop for gifts in person and online for pretty much every gift, home furnishing, plants, and more. We’ve met some of out closest friends. Been to incredible events from hosting private party's to live music/poetry.Good Neighbor brings Baltimore a special community. I am so grateful for Good Neighbor.

Coming from a cafe loving town like San Francisco this place made me feel at home.First off, the interior is so well designed you’ll feel like you are in someone’s home that just happens to have lively baristas making great coffee and food. Thank for they only had one cheesecake brownie left because I would have eaten my weights-worth if they had more.I didn’t realize at the time but all of the beautiful furniture they have inside is actually for sale as well as other fine home products. They also sell magazines and artsy books. They also have a spectacular outdoor seating area that can accommodate lots of people. I’m certain they can reconfigure the space for special events (I actually did an artists talk while I was there). It’s they type of place you can either go and do some work from, people watch, sing along with the baristas, or meet new people. The neighborhood it’s located in is near interesting shops and transportation. If you are in Baltimore you MUST go to good neighbor.

Nice chill cafe, with great decor and interesting home goods for sale. Friendly staff. Excellent coffee.

This place is all good vibes. They have some incredible design; beautiful, curated items and accessories for your home. The food and drink selection is really nice as well for a local coffee shop. This place is often busy with students studying and working. Now with the addition of the plant store next door, green neighbor, there are even more beautiful plants and plant accessories around.

Four stars based on two visits: first visit was pleasant (drink quality was fine but not great), second visit one of the people I was with ordered the toast pictured below and it tasted unpleasant.Overall, customer service is good but not on par with a 5-star shop. Drink quality both times was not bad, but was also not on par with a 5-star shop. The vibe is definitely interesting with two somewhat competing themes going on, but still is a nice place to sit and do some work or hangout with friends (thus my 4-star review). This is still a pretty good shop and I don’t think you’ll be disappointed as long as you’re not anticipating a 5-star experience in terms of quality and service.

The vibe is cool but the customer service is hit or miss depending on your barista. My biggest issue was the toast. I ordered the herb toast on sourdough but they gave me the floral toast on brioche. I took a bite and it was disgusting. I had my sister in law try it as well and she said it was gross. Maybe the ingredients were bad, not sure. I would not get food here again.

My cappuccino was okay and the customer service was also okay. The inside vibe is pretty cool. There’s lots of kitchenwares and plants for sale which I liked.

Unlike most of the other reviewers, I am reviewing good neighbor as an online retailer not as a cafe.  I was reading Architectural Digest online and came across stools I liked in a photo of a bedroom in a home tour.  The only information given was that they were "Max Lamb's stools."  I began a Google search and found out that the stools in question were Hem's The Last stools.  I found them available directly from Hem but also from good neighbor.  Being a smart consumer, I checked good neighbor's online reviews first.  Initially, I thought I was finding a different place with the same name, as the reviews were for a cafe, not an online retailer.  I eventually realized this was indeed the correct place.  As I wanted to support a small business, I bought the stool from good neighbor, who are a reseller for Hem.  I had two coupon codes.  Accidentally, I used the lesser coupon code when I confirmed the purchase.  I felt like a complete idiot.  Of course, I did this in the middle of the night on a Saturday.  I called good neighbor the next day, a Sunday, which must be a busy time for a cafe.  Everyone I spoke to and dealt with was so friendly, nice, understanding and reassuring.  They quickly corrected the problem for me though it was my fault, not theirs.  I want to especially compliment Nan, Shawn and especially Alexis Crooks.  From the point of the refund on, Alexis sent me personal emails including when the package was shipped.  Such good customer service. Such kindness. Thank you again, Alexis!  I received the stool very quickly and I really like it. Instead of having a negative reaction every time I look at the stool due to my error, I now will view this purchase in a very positive manner. To sum up, good neighbor is a lovely, sweet company that you can trust in doing online business.  I plan on buying from them again in order to show my appreciation for how nice they were with our first transaction.  I wish I was in their neighborhood so that I could visit their cafe.  I could not recommend this business any higher.
