I use to eat here several times a week (Carne Asada with eggs is my favorite) before I moved out of town. Of course I always come back because I love this place, the food, the service, all the waiters/workers, the whole atmosphere is welcoming and Authentic. I also love their bakery, it has a hot bar great for breakfast and lunch with a huge selection of freshly baked goods.
Came here because the reviews were good, but my experience was AWFUL! ordered seafood soup and was charged $30 for a bowl. When I asked why I was charged that much the “manager” said that I had ordered a Mariscada and proceeded to say that I should have known the difference between a Mariscada and the soup, I’m from out of town so NO! I don’t know the difference. I asked for SOUP and I got soup therefore that is what I thought I was eating! Needless to say, the manager chose to loose a future client rather than to make it right. Advice for the restaurant… on your menu under Mariscada make sure you specify that it’s ALSO soup, don’t assume we out-of-towners know this information. Wait staff my advice for you is… don’t assume, like our waitress said she did.
We LOVE this place!! They have Mexican and El Salvadorian food that is ALWAYS fantastic!! Everyone is super friendly and efficient and the place is always clean. The owner or a partner? Is usually onsite and is sure to check in with you. The servers are friendly and attentive. The food, OMG THE FOOD, is brought out quickly and we have yet to have a single dish that wasn't delicious! The only things I would change are the complimentary chips and salsa but my mother's godparents own a tortilla factory in Texas and I am spoiled and fickle when it comes to chips. The salsa is easily doctored with the assortment of table condiments and you should be saving room for the food anyway. The combination platters are HUGE and delightful, tacos (including lengua and chorizo) are authentic, and I always get a fried corn tamale with fresh crema. Do yourself a favor and head to Upper Fells point, grab a giant, cheap, and tasty pitcher of sangria, and stuff yourself with at this unknown treasure.
One of the best restaurant in Broadway just a few blocks front Baltimore Inner Harbord. Offer multiple choices of great and very tasty food and also seafood. If your visiting Baltimore I highly recommend you to go get a great lunch or dinner.
My friend that lives in Baltimore recommended this place as it was a short walk from her house and I have to say it is AMAZING. The meal was definitely cheap for the amount of food you get and the mango milkshake was delicious. I got the #1 plate and everything was cooked perfectly. The steak was seasoned well and juicy. Everything was perfect and I would definitely come back if I am in Baltimore again.
It was pretty good. There were 10 of us and they were all very happy with food and service. Steak Al Salvadoreño was really nice.
AMAZING food! The prices are unbeatable, food is mouth-watering and authentic, wait staff are kind and quick. Beer and wine are super affordable. I grew up in Latin America and this whole establishment gives me very nostalgic vibes. 10/10 recommend!
Always a great place for authentic Latin food. Great service and the drinks are cool too.

Worth the wait, all natural home cooked meals. Friendly. Menus have pictures and translations. Looks simple from the outside but inside feels like home. The prices are more than fair and the plates come big.
