The only thing I would improve on here is the signage downstairs in the Whole Foods to find it. We've shopped at the Harbor East Whole Foods and had no idea it was on the second floor. Beautiful and delicious hand pulled noodles and fresh ingredients. We had the Wet Bird and Fiery Pork Noods. Had the perfect amount of heat. And you can't beat the second floor dining area with an outdoor patio! Gorgeous views!

The staff were very nice, explained their selections and made great recommendations too.The dishes are so interesting sounding but I decided on the spicy pork and mushroom noodles and a side of wings. These dishes were soooo good and had a interesting flavor profile. The noodles were thick and held all the creamy spicy sauce really well and I melted after the first bite. The wings were juicy and delicious too and had a nice crunch similar to bonchons. I highly recommend this spot.

Delicious handpulled noodles ?

Just moved to Charm city and im making my way around the ramen shops. Today was EJJI inside Whole Food.I came on a Saturday at 5pm, and it was a nice quiet spot. Staff was friendly, and food came quickly.I ordered the Wet Bird noodles, and added in marinated egg. It comes with chicken, cilantro, bonito, bean sprouts, Shitaki shrooms ? fire grilled tomato, and scallions. The beer noodles have a delightful bite, and wonderful texture. The broth could use a bit more of that Umami kick (for me) but you could easily remedy that with some fish sauce, extra bonito or a splash of soy/garlic oil. If you're a tomato ? entusiast, the grilled tomatos really shine. Next time I'll add Xtra. ? The portion was enough to fill me up before I was finished. For my noods, with 2 Xtra marinated eggs, and a soda I spent $23. Not at all bad. Would recommend and will definitely return. ?

I’m a picky plant-based foodie… Tried them for the first time 30 minutes before closing… Outstanding flavor and texture… Did not disappoint!

We have been regular Ejji customers for years and have tried very hard to support them through the pandemic with delivery orders and in-person dining. DH is an omnivore; I am pescatarian and cannot have pork in any form as it does unspeakable things to my insides. I went to Ejji on my own for lunch today and was told they did not have the ONLY seafood ramen item on their menu as it's "too hard to make it." They had shrimp tempura, so... curry broth is too hard to make... really? I was really hungry, so I ordered the veg ramen minus the butter and added shrimp tempura and two veg at up-charges, meaning that I was now paying $20 for a bowl of noodle soup. Noodle soup that didn't even have the broth I wanted. Actually, it had really, really bad broth. The dish tasted so bad (imagine a $20 bowl of salt water with some veg and noodles floating in it) that I ate the shrimp and a couple of bites of veg, then set the rest back on the counter. The staff asked what was wrong and I said "I can't eat this; it tastes really bad." No offer of a refund or even a discount despite the fact that at least one person on the staff recognized me and we always tip well. Okay, so we'll only eat ramen in NYC from now because restaurants there have PAGES of seafood options as well as non-insipid veg ones.

Nice rich hand pulled noodle dish with glossy sauce. Perfect with the red sambal if you like it spicy!

The sauce for the noodle was too salty, and left thick taste in mouth.

Fun little lunch place above Whole Foods. I always get the featured noodle soup and an interesting bottle of soda. Always happy with the result! ?

Huge fan of the hand pulled beer noodles - I don’t love the bread the fried chicken sandwich comes on. Great spot for a quick meal
