Went here for dinner with my wife and a neighbor (who is vegetarian- we chose Dukem because of the assortment of vegetarian options). We ordered sambusas, a combination sampler, and a vegetarian platter. Everything was really tasty. The service was a little slow, but there seemed to be only one person serving and cooking at the time??‍♂️. Regardless, I'd definitely go back again.

I love Dukem so very much. The food is outstanding, always - so consistent and reasonably priced. The restaurant staff are also immensely patience as I'm always trying to figure out the menu because I forget what I ordered the last time and they answer all of my questions about the menu. Amazing customer service during times such as these are very appreciated! This place is a staple in the DC-Baltimore area, if you're visiting, this is a must for delicious, fresh Ethiopian cuisine. Also, they have great dairy-free options and healthy dishes.

Damn the veggie combo I’ve gotten three times each time it’s different and each time it’s 16 pieces of delicious authentic goodness. SO many flavors, some sweet, some meaty, spicy, fermented, fresh, just each bite bursts with something truly unique. It’s my go to takeout for the week. The staff is also nice. This place hits ALL the marks. And a vegetarian heaven!!

Small gem in Baltimore. You must go. Good food. Kind staff. Lovely atmosphere. Street parking only. Best with 2-5 people. I will go again. I had the big plate to share. It was 5 of us. We were full. About $50 for that meal. Well worth it. Tip them big!!!!!!

So, all these years in bmore i have never visited Dukem, well because i almost always go to Tabor. Decided to switch it up, because unlike Tabor, they do answer their phones. The spice level was not to my specifications, but i can overlook that. Their awaze (lamb) tibs was amazing, wish i had more wherever they source their lamb from just perfect. I ordered the Gori gori its a rib meal (beef rib dish). meat was tough but dish was flavorful. Will keep them in rotation

Very tasty and authentic Ethiopian food. Full bar and nice Ethiopian beer. Highly recommend! We had a Family Sampler, Fish and some additional meat dishes. Everything is meant to be eaten with hands, but utensils are available upon request.

Was our go-to Ethiopian spot especially for takeout but the portion sizes are way too varied and inconsistent. Some days we get literally a half tray of food and others a super small to go container. Recently was told to get a combo that would feed 3 people and the portion was literally a joke. And we paid $50 bucks for it!I mean it’s still super delicious but it is so inconsistent. Cmon Dukem you might be losing a loyal customer.

Delicious & friendly. The coffee while waiting for my to go order was amazing, as was my kitfo, injera & greens once I got to my hotel. 10 stars!?

I ate at this place before and today I came in to eat with a friend for a late lunch. We ate upstairs that was almost empty with 2 ladies eating behind us. Yummy vegan options. I look how the bar was set up and the perfect area for dancing ? . My friend and I were dancing away putting a smile and laugh on our serious waitress.1 star off for being a little bit more on the pricy side.
