Been a vegetarian since the mid seventies and we use to have to travel to Philly, New York and DC to find a high level of Vegan cuisine. Kai has brought an exceptionally superior Vegan cuisine to our area and even with the Baltimore metro area’s rise in Vegan restaurants Dodah’s Kitchen is clearly one of the best, and absolutely should be the restaurant on everyone’s “bucket” list. Meet Kai, talk with her and one will soon realize that Dodah’s is a literal extension, an aspect of her being. She is meticulous and one of the best definitions: (taking, showing, or involving great care and effort) Synonyms for meticulous: careful, conscientious, fussy, loving, painstaking, scrupulous, and to me, this reminds me of Mama in the kitchen !! and with that, we don’t even have to talk about the food.
I would love to give this place a four star rating but because of the customer service which is hit or miss I choose to give three stars. The food so far has been great! However, Sundays which seems to be the busiest day and yet they lack the menu items that should be in constant rotation so that they won’t run out of menu items. Doesn’t look good for business. Vegan cuisine in all communities are at the top of the food chain you have got to be ready to represent.
Absolutely obsessed with the food here. And as a polytheist I really appreciate the art of the various gods and goddesses inside the cafe. Really cool place and every single item is delicious. A great example of vegan soul food done right.
I bought from Uber eats who unfortunately for my husband and I didn’t know this was vegan. Thinking we were supporting the community etc. we bought two dinners totaling $58.00 needless to say my pot roast dinner was… I don’t know what it was really so I’m sure vegans loved it too bad I can’t say the same. As for Uber eats I’m deleting them since I think that falsely represented you guys!
The food here is exquisite, but what honestly makes me return is the people. The staff is always so welcoming, warm, and inviting! I absolutely love it here!
The food was amazing and everytime i drive from New Jersey twice a week to visit the employee name Kai is so nice and helpful always give smile and great customer service today I felt so bad for her because there was a rude mean belligerent customer who was smart and nasty when Kai was trying to be helpful and provide great customer service she’s a great person I don’t like the way she was treated today ✔️
The Food is healthy and is also delicious! ? I recommend anyone looking for an authentic vegan dining experience... Go to Dodah's Kitchen!!! ...You'll thank me later. ??
first time here and it was sooo perfect! we had a crab cake sandwich, fries, mac n cheese, salads, fried fish. great portion sizes! everything was amazing! had a ginger lemonade to wash it all down. what an awesome place! very cool owner! definitely worth a trip to the city!
First time ordering from here. I ordered the entree with two sides. I received my yams, and mac and cheese but my fish came as a sandwich. The yams were good, the fish was great once I removed some of the huge onion slices. The Mac and cheese I didn't like at all way too much pepper in it.
Can’t believe I haven’t tried this place sooner! I love Land of Kush and this is another great place to try for comfort food. I got the general Tao’s cauliflower and Mac and cheese- both delicious. Didn’t love the cookies and cream cheesecake, but I’m not a huge cheesecake fan to begin with. Definitely will be back!
