So I was walking through Baltimore City looking for a new place to try out and I happened to come across David and Dad's Cafe. Wowzers ? This cafe is FANTASTIC! It has it all from the cool environment to the delicious food. I went with the veggie omelet and a cup of coffee for some energy ⚡️ The service was awesome and I also got my lady friend a Buffalo Chicken wrap which thought was delectable! Highly recommend and definitely will be stopping in again! ?
Nice place to eat in town. You order your meal, they give you a number and bring it out to you. Food was very good. The place seems busy all the time. The only complaint that I have is that we had gotten breakfast and everything is behind the counter so we could not get our coffee while we were waiting for our food. We had the first wait till our food was delivered then go back up to the counter with the server that brought the food out to get our coffee. If you want other beverages such as soda or juices there are fridges so you can grab your drinks yourself so that’s not an issue. You pay for your meal when you are finished eating. They have Apple Pay. If you wanna quick David and dad’s café.
This place has nice cashiers but they have a down side...they treat certain customers a certain way. What i mean not saying racist but each time we went there our food was incorrect also my coworker had a issue his food fixed by a trash can... on top that we called a order still had to go in and wait...our food was sitting and never called until we went up to let them know and they saw us sitting there. I let the lady Ms. Kathy know its always a issue with our service and i feel like because my coworker and i are not regulars they make us feel uncomfortable. At the end we paid for our food Ms. Kathy saw us getting sugar for our food she ask what we needed and i said sugar for grits i proceeded to ask why she says people take sugar for offices etc.. all blacks are not alike that will be my last time there. If you not a regular or a different shade they feel intimidate by you...was bad is i work downtown 12 yrs and i never had this problem til i went there
What a great experience! I got their Italian omelette which came with some incredible crispy potatoes, 2 slices of buttered toast, plus a fantastic omelette with Italian sausage, all for under 10 dollars. Highly recommend this place, fantastic food and a great value!
This place is probably one of my favorite places to go for lunch when I am in the area. I used to work across the street and became a regular. The service is out of this world and the owners are just plain classy. The Reuben is second to none, but beware your waistline in this place. You need to have a vigorous workout regimine if you are to regularly indulge here.
A favorite lunch haunt, particularly for their Powerhouse Wrapper (recommend - in a spinach wrap). They used to include pickled red onions, which were very, very good...overall, lovely atmosphere and delicious food! Their chicken salad also hits the spot.
Awesome place to have breakfast can sit down take your time also you pay after you order and consume your meal or your beverage nice approach
The BEST (literally the best) chai latte. I would fly back to Baltimore just for this chai latte. Food was good too.
Just go here. Hang out. Have coffee. Enjoy! On a weekend visit to see my son. Stopped in for some breakfast sandwiches and coffee. The folks took our order and had our food ready in minutes. The breakfast sandwiches were well done, hot and cooked to order. The locations is super cool. An old bank, I think. Very cool place to hang and have coffee, read a book, or play chess. Outstanding location and great food. I would go again.
We really enjoyed breakfast at David and Dads. So much so, that we returned the next day. The atmosphere was also nice. Would recommend the everything bagel with cream cheese and the breakfast sandwich on a homemade biscuit.
