Worth the price and the hype, not overpriced like most things in the Mill Market. Birthday crust very good. Wish had been asked if wanted it warmed. Turkey sausage breakfast sandwich VERY good. Little hard to fit it all in your mouth. The jelly is a surprisingly good addition. The patty seemed handmade and not gross like most sausage patties. 10/10.
Run, don’t walk here! I had the best biscuit of my life today at Crust By Mack. Finally got myself a crab pie too and it was everything I hoped it would be! Flaky, perfect amount of seasoning, and just the perfect bite. You can tell this food is made with love!
Crust by Mack is delicious! While their desserts and treats are good and unique, what really sets them apart (for me) is their commitment to Baltimore. They collaborate with other businesses fostering a spirit of community over competition. I still have dreams about their lemon donut collaboration with Cloudy Donuts. And who doesn’t love gold and sprinkles on their desserts?!Be sure to order ahead, so you get what you want before they sell out. Now stop reading and go! Enjoy!
I rated 5 stars... but if I were being precise I would say a solid 4.7, of you’re looking for that home made southern-like feel and taste this is the place to be! No matter what you buy you will not be disappointed wether it’s a birthday crust, chicken meatball crust or even the biscuits paired with sweet potato butter I can’t just recommend 1 thing you have to try it all. As hard as life can be nowadays every staff member has been all smiles very welcoming they are sweethearts. My only critique would be, the salmon biscuit I purchased was a tad bit over seasoned.. may have just been the one I purchased. Not a hit or miss establishment at all.
Black owned and delicious. They have excellent customer service, convenient online ordering and a nice location with parking. We haven’t had anything from here that I haven’t liked. My husband loves the biscuits and birthday crust. My favorite items are the bacon egg and cheese crust and the shrimp toast.
Everything I have tried from here has been amazing and the staff is so friendly! My favorites so far have been the crab pie and the shrimp crust and I also really love the birthday crust! The cookies are also great, chewy on the inside and perfectly crispy around the edges.
What an amazing addition to Baltimore! Our local legends have BLOWN IT OUT OF THE WATER! I had as much fun making the treats as eating them ! The chocolate chip cookies can’t be beat and grandmas carrot cake is mind blowing! I never knew I even LOVED carrot cake ?! Thanks grandma! Also the not so secret staff favorite is the spinach pie! And all ya already heard the word about the crab pie . You can’t go wrong here : ) Amanda WILL take care of you ! Xoxx
I recently discovered Crust by Mack and it’s quickly become my new favorite spot in Hampden. If you’re lucky enough to snag the crab pies, DO NOT hesitate! The everything crust makes for a yummy, buttery alternative to a bagel, and I cannot say enough about the birthday crust! Drooling as I’m writing this/planning my order for tomorrow.
I stopped at this location today and was not disappointed. The owner was so nice and the baked goods were delicious! I'm glad I found this place! If your in the area give it a try!
