Friendly staff and great tasting food. When on a Sunday morning was in and out. The blue raspberry puch was delicious.
It was my first time having chicken and waffles together and boy was it delicious ? The waffles were airy and lite while the chicken was crispy and juicy. They give a variety of dipping sauces to choose from and the waffles come in different flavors like oreo cookie or the crunch berry waffles I had.
This little gem is located inside the broadway market. The staff is friendly and attentive. There is limited seating at the countertop but common tables for all market customers are scattered throughout. The market itself is ALL the vibes.The waffles and chicken were lovely. My husband got the blueberry and I Opted for plain. I got the peach tea half and half and my husband got the lemonade.Enjoyed this lovely treat for breakfast while visiting the city.Only thing we both said was, we hoped the waffle would be a tad more flavorful. Otherwise, it was great!
Amazing food!! Chicken and waffles are bar none the best I've had i years!!! Highly recommended, and the staff is super courteous and efficient!
I have not eaten here yet but these people are always sweet every time I come into the market as a matter of fact I did have a triple mix from them which was good but I believe I saw the owner the other day and she was sweet as well so I will give them a try! I will also like to say that she employs a lot of young black youth and even though they may not have clients I'm sure she is paying payroll and I want to see this business grow as it is one of the only black businesses if not the only black business inside of this particular market. I don't want to see them go out of business.
Two chicken pieces and they were incredibly small compared to the waffle and even my finger. The waggle tasted really off, like a bit sour aftertaste like something went bad. I couldn't finish it.
The buttermilk waffles with chicken strips were delicious. My wife had the blueberry waffles with chicken strips, and she enjoyed them as well. Need a little better customer service that was my only complaint .
Light taste waffles and a good working environment 10/10 on the food and best job I had so far.
Just ate here today, and was pleasantly surprised! The chicken was SUPER juicy and tender! Fries were great too! I haven't tried the waffles yet, but I definitely want to go back to taste them. You guys are doing great!!!
I'm always trying out new lunch options on a splurge day. I came across Connie's Chicken and Waffles, since I'm use to having chicken and waffles from southern restaurants, but never like a carryout experience. I was told it would take about 10 minutes because it's made fresh each order. It was definitely worth it! The chicken seasoned, moist and the waffles too. I had it with the half and half peach tea and lemonade. Definitely coming back.
