What a difference a day makes!I have to give a 5-star rating this go round. Management swiftly responded to the elusive powdered sugar with a free meal!I am grateful. Destiny was charming, a complete contrast.Communication is vital, and Connie’s Chicken and Waffles has it down. Every day won’t be a bad day, but it’s good to know someone is looking out!
A bit unexpected that it's not a restaurant but a food stand, in sorta like a food court... Service was fast, prices were okay paid $28.62 for 2 super sweet lemonades, chicken and waffle combo. And 3 piece chicken tender and fries combo! Good amount of food for the price... Feed my little family of 4...
I forgot take a picture because I was so hungry! I consider myself a waffle expert so I can say that I have never had waffles this good... they were huge but not dense... very fluffy, airy, and light. The chicken was very fresh and seasoned well. If you have a sugar sensitivity don't get the juice drinks. But if you don't ...go for it! I had TWO. Best Non Alcoholic drinks I've ever had!!! Thank you for a great meal!
It was okay. The fries were good, and both the chicken and fries were very hot when I got them. The chicken is a smidge bland as well. What really takes it down are (1) its location - a very dingy and dark food court that looks like it was forgotten 30 years ago; and (2) its overall cleanliness - dirty countertops, waffle batter sitting out, pans and trays everywhere. If they want to succeed they need to up their game and find a better location.

Took 1 hr before I got my order. Not sure if they were having a bad day but The workers at this location were slow. They keep saying it coming up for 30 mins. Also, they need better hygiene. One of the guys handling the food would give and receive the bathroom key with his glove hands which he used to handle the food and went right back into handling the food. Also was checking his phone on and off while people were waiting. Another girl worker in the back, not sure what she was doing the whole time all these people were complaining and waiting for their food.
I am honestly SHOCKED that this place has such great reviews. This place is FILTHY! If you zoom up on the pics from the reviews (specifically the kitchen and counters), you can see crumbs, filth, and clutter. Go there yourself and the filth is 10x’s worse!I ordered the chicken and waffles and it was not good. It wasn’t absolutely terrible, but I’d give it a 3-4 out of 10. The chicken (which taste like heated-up frozen chicken tenders) were pretty bland and so were the waffles.Both the atmosphere and service were sub-par, so I’d honestly have no reason to ever come back here.
It was kinda hard to locate but after we did, we ordered. The waffles were pretty good. Recommended!
Damn, Connie!Connie's has the best chicken and waffles in town. This is where you need to be for some good food. And not too painful on the wallet either.
Was so excited to try this place because I have been to Baltimore several times and have wanted to stop but never had the chance… today I did and gotta tell ya I was a little disappointed. The staff was very pleasant and my order was done quickly and the waffles were on point however, the chicken had NO flavor ??
