Eclectic place close to campus. I had a big burger — I liked the vegetables, sauce, and the chips, but the cutlet was too dry/tasteless. Friendly service, but not my vibe.
For some it's a place to have a quick family lunch or dinner. For some it's a sports bar. For others it's a great place to eat and drink with friends. It's called the Charles Village Pub. In my family we know it as le Pub. My granddaughter always orders the chicken fingers (with honey ranch for dipping). My daughter orders the Greek salad with grilled chicken. What do I order? What do I recommend? Well, there's the shrimp salad. On a plate, or as a sandwich, it's the best I've ever eaten. My nephew and I agree, the chicken salad is the best, ever! Thank you Chef Joe, Chef Eddie, and Eddie's mom!!! What else? Let's see, there's the chicken cheese steak and cheese steak, the Catonsville club, the Goucher club, delicious burgers and baby back ribs! Of course, this is but a small portion of what's on the menu. Check it out. Expect good food, good service, well managed.
CVP is always a great place. The love and community is palpable (which makes the drinks taste better, for sure ?).
This is a relatively small bar/restaurant in the JHU neighborhood. The hamburgers were simple but delicious! Our server, whose name we didn’t get, was lovely. And the hazy IPA hit the spot after spending 3 1/2 hours at the Baltimore Museum of Art.
The bar is under new management and they refused to serve my friend after a few drinks. They were very rude about the whole thing—and with no cause. Sad to see this place decline.
Great staff. Decent food. The fried shrimp are always on point, and their side salad is really good. Prices are undefeated. It's a place you can to alone but not feel alone. They serve good vibes.
My friends and I rolled in while Omnicron hot and the Bartender made us put masks on before even thinking about stepping... turns out the guy had his own sickness and bought us a few rounds of hydrogen shots on the house!

Very nice local pumpkin with some very fine Ipa's that I tried plus a number of other selections. I found the crowd friendly and polite I left before it started getting crowded it was Halloween night and as I left it was filling up quickly. It a sports bar so not much music but I still found it pleasant to relax and enjoy the beverages and people.
Great neighborhood pub with fun neighborhood bartenders who will remember your order if you're consistent enough. That sorta service you can't buy.Love these guys.
