I just happened to need a liquor store and they were right there in the need and had everything we needed.
Tried to overcharged me for an item that was clearly on sale. When I questioned the employee he stated that everywhere else in Baltimore the price was the price he quoted me instead of the sales price. Bad business ethics.
I feel like almost everytime I've been in here, which has been a few, I come out with a story. The one from today I'd like to say, was funny but definitely not appropriate for a review. However it is pretty close to Pataspco Flea market, if you need need to stop by for anything. Like some fried chicken skins that my fiancee said would make an awesome drunk snack ? comparing them to pork rinds but " not as likely to break a tooth, with better flavor and why didn't I get you more of them."They have a decent selection of alcohol, with not just the usual corner store mash up. Their beer cooler goes all the way from the entrance to the back of the store, so you might be able to find something to imbibe, if you're into that kind of thing. I haven't really checked out their wine selection, so can't really help on that front.Speaking of thirst, if you have worked up one that can't wait until you get out of building (and of course someplace you're allowed to drink legally), they have a bar on premises as well. I haven't gotten the opportunity to sit down, have a round and partake of more than just my drink but if you have some time to kill and maybe in the mood to people watch, it might give you a story or two to take home.Only issue is the parking lot, which can get a little crazy at times, as the place stays pretty busy on the regular. But luckily it is right on Canton Ave, and very close to 295 and 95 if I'm not mistaken. So grab extra snacks, be nice to the staff constantly restocking and checking you out. And if you do get to sit down at the bar, I hope you get some stories to take with you instead of being one of them.

I went to this particular liquor store today and encountered an excessive charge of 50 cents for a plastic bag??!! He never asked if I wanted a bag nor did he tell me of the charge. I happened to look up at the register and noticed the charge, I immediately disputed the charge and he removed it.If you plan to go to Catonhouse liquor store , please pay close attention to what the armed Asian wearing a hat is charging you… ask for a receipt! He won’t give you one if you don’t ask.
