I ordered the honey old bay wingz and a fish platter. It exceeded my expectations. Ordered on DoorDash and it was worth every penny.
I have tried to be supportive of this establishment, however, it makes no sense how unprofessional they are. I can't count the number of times that they are not open and it's well after 3, ot I've ordered something and it's cancelled 30 minutes later, or I order something and it's not in my order. I am trying to hang on, but this is crazy and I think one more time and I'm done.
Good eating, great drinks, awesome dance music and cool eclectic set up. I went on a Thursday ($3 crab night). It was a nice causal crowd. No incidents of any kind. Only concern is LOCATION. There is a gated parking. If you have a concern about being in the middle of the hood, it may not be the spot for you. If location don't bother you, then it is a hidden gem in the middle of the hood (next door to Shake and Bake Family Fun Center).
I ordered on DoorDash from my hotel. I didn't get my drink or the cake or hot sauce for my fish. This is a sure way to discourage a future order as I'm in a hotel with no way to get these items yourself. It's really important to read the notesb when people order and to give them EVERYTHING they ordered! As far as the food: here's a couple of tips ... poke some holes in the top of the container when people order fish so that it's still crispy when it arrives and it doesn't get steamed and soggy. Also my mac and cheese was unedible and there was a bunch of plastic in it and what appears to be some eggshell. See pictures below. Not sure what that was. I tried calling after I received my DoorDash order but no one ever answered the phone.
I ordered the salmon platter, a jumbo strawberry lemonade and green beans. The salmon was amazing with the shrimp and capital sauce. The lemonade was good but it was more like a medium and not a jumbo.
Went here for restaurant week and was really impressed! The prices are on the higher end but the shrimp toast app and pork chop were top notch.
After my food was gone I was looking for more, this place shattered my expectations. The candied yams, the fish? Don't get me started. The baked potato was smothered in crab meat as well. I'll definitely be ordering from here again and look forward to actually sitting down and having dinner here one night.
The drinks are great, the fish is good had it for the first time.
I have had a lot of stuffed potatoes in Baltimore but none measure up to the one I got from Capital Lounge I got the Miles Davis everything was fresh I will be a repeat customer
Order their deep friend salmon burger on DoorDash faithfully. My favorite. And they’re so nice cause if you have an issue with your order, they call or make reasonable replacements rather than just disappoint.
