No Exaggerating , this is by far the best restaurant I’ve ever ate from. I’m 26yrs old, I don’t eat out often— but “Cafe 1908” is definitely a game changer for me❤️ Btw, the Strawberry Sea-Moss jell works wonders yo??♂️ . I had lower back pains for like 3 weeks— a few spoonfuls of Cafe 1908 Strawberry SeaMoss cured it within days— For that, I love y’all

I decided to try this spot after picking up a Doordash order yesterday because my first impression was good. The food they were preparing looked fresh, and it smelled tasty. The very next day, I brought my wife we enjoyed our food much we would definitely order from them again. The only downside was they were out of some of their drink flavors.
Food is BEYOND AWESOME, however on my second visit it took 35 minutes for a very simple, single order. Two cooks in the kitchen means that (1) can prepare phone and grubhub orders, while the other prepares walk-in orders. No apology offered for the long wait on fries and a veggie wrap. I frequent AA businesses for a reason, but we owe each other basic courtesies of customer services we'd expect from anywhere else. I hope management sees this, and addresses the issue as an opportunity for improvement. THANKS
Cafe 1908 does it right. Best find in Baltimore since the pandemic began. At Cafe 1908 you walk down to an unassuming bodega-style atmosphere that tells you you're home, and with the respectful attentive service to make you feel it. One sip of their homemade Righteous lemonade and you know you're in for a treat. I grabbed a chopped fish wrap, and it felt like the world melted around me and time stopped when I took a bite. Fresh flaky fish perfectly mixed with gooey melted American cheese and the right proportion of fresh veg. The wrap held together until the last bite which was as meaty and succulent as that first bite. Usually when I see 15$ for a wrap it's just a bigger or longer version of the same sandwich, but Cafe 1908's Chopped Fish was a better, and more balanced wrap that transformed the experience for me and set a new standard. It's nice to see a kitchen running on passion and love, it's even better to taste it. Can't wait to try the whole menu.

I’d gotten the jerk chicken and steak sandwich two platters and a 16 oz seafood salad over all I spent over 50$. My complaint is that I should never have to pay 20$ for a 16oz seafood salad that has imitation crab meat in it I think that’s extremely misleading and insulting. It was literally imitation crab meat with shrimp and it was extremely salty. My entire household tried it and immediately wanted to trash it.
The food was absolutely delicious! I had the salmon melt. It was freshly made and the flavor was consistent during each bite. The atmosphere was nice and clean. The staff was friendly, helpful, and patient. I will definitely return here! Keep up the great work
Wow! The jerked chicken cheese wrap was incredible. Spicy (but not too), hot, cheesy, with a perfect amount of heat. The fries were tossed with savory blend of herbs - I think it had thyme. Both the cream of crab and curry chickpea soups were great. I mixed a little of the crab and chickpea together and that fantastic. Overall, everyone liked their dishes and the team was super friendly and helpful in putting together all these dishes.
