Update since my review was removed for no reason. Existing customer, the food is good. However, I brought a friend to try it for the first time, and the lady was quite unpleasant. It was embarrassing. When my friend was ready to order after spending a few minutes looking over the menu, she informed him, "no, I'm too busy, I asked you before." She then gave me an attitude over the toppings, so I declined the food and questioned her about her terrible customer service, to which she replied, "I don't care, I'll eat it myself," to which I replied, "good for you." I've never had service like this anywhere!
one of my favorite restaurants, literally go like 2+ times every week. great rice, meat quality, and you get 7 toppings of many choices of vegetables and sauces. good drinks and customer service too, great spot
The Mount Vernon Marketplace is a very cool and uppity Cafeteria, which many great food options. A very popular spot for a date. Within this food marketplace lies a gem. Brown Rice Korean Grille.While there are around 5 Brown Rice locations, this is one of the oldest locations and it is by far the best. A lot of people have complained about the food portions that they give here, but I completely disagree. They give a good amount.Also they have the BB habanero based hot sauce, which is the best sauce ever made! It is the only Brown Rice location with this sauce!Also it is the only Brown Rice location that does not Charge extra money for the more popular veggies. They have almost every veggie and protein that you can think of! It’s amazing.
This is my favorite restaurant in the entire city, and the owners are so sweet! ??They do an amazing job staying true to Korean cuisine, and their food is absolutely delicious. I refuse to go to other brown rice locations because they don't do this as well.The prices are reasonable, and the portions are great.You can tell that they adjust your order to make sure the proportions are perfect.I come here whenever I have extra money, and as someone who doesn't eat much, the super Bowl lasts me for two meals.I'm hooked!

Always fresh! You can tell that the owners take great pride in their food. The rice is always cooked to perfection and toppings are always super fresh and crisp! I love their beef bulgogi. Reasonably priced. We come here 1x a week sometimes!
So delicious! They make the absolute best bowls and have a wide variety of protein and veggies to choose from. The owners are so polite and nice and offer great recommendations. Cant wait to go back.
All the food tastes so fresh. I had a small bowl with white rice, brown beef (which had a nice sticky sweet and savory flavor), carrots, kale, bean sprouts, red onions, and beets! On top I had the Mango Suace w/ a little bit of spicy mayo, sesame seeds and oil. The service was good and the server explained how the process worked. We were able to eat inside the market place which was very clean. Nice hip location, artsy open spaces, lots of tables, seating and clean public restrooms. Highly recommend this spot and I’ll definitely be going back again!
