Be.bim (Korean) was terrific tonight. The perfectly prepared fried seafood pancake was scrumptious, and delightfully accompanied by 2 sauces (one a plainish mayo, the other a slightly spicy aioli). The chicken dumpling guk was yummy and generously sized enough for half to be taken home for lunch tomorrow.
I loved my sandwich! This is by far the best chicken sandwich I have had. The customer service was great, and my food didn’t take long to cook. This was the Baltimore Brd sandwich, crispy on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside with a buttery bun and authentic sauce toppings with crispy fresh pickles!! Thank you so much! They have great fries too.
Buffalo Angry BRD was the best chicken sandwich I have ever had. Chicken juicy. Coating crispy. Seasoning spot on. Sauces and slaw super tasty. Roll perfect. Keep making them like you did today.
I have been ordering from here since the start of the pandemic. This is by far the best chicken sandwich I have ever eaten. Always fresh. They use dark meat so it’s always tender and juicy. The BRD sauce is fire???. I want to take away a star because they no longer have the house made lemonade on the menu or the wings! BUT I won’t be petty. And the chicken “sando’s” have a variety. From spicy, to breakfast/sweet, to savory/Carolina BBQ. The menu has changed several times BUT the food remains amazing!
Best fried chicken sandwich I have ever had. Delicious. Spicy, juicy, flavorful. Fast food chains can't compete. THIS is a chicken sandwich! Staff were great. Grab. a beer at the r-bar while you're there.
This place used to have my favorite chicken sandwich in the world, absolutely unmatched. The fries? Still primo. My previous 2 visits were… really bad in terms of service, but the food was worth it. Service on this visit was fine. Unfortunately the quality has consistently gone down in the last 18 months, along with the portion sizes. The prices have gone up, however. :( My last sandwich was undercooked, the breading was mushy, their signature BRD sauce tasted notably different - like they switched their base out to the mayonnaise they have in a public school cafeteria and went lighter on the spice. Also, my bad for not looking so closely at the menu! But two 16 oz bottled half and half’s being $8 is a fughing joke. Legitimately, I have paid less than that in an airport, and I could have just walked to the 711 or Walgreens across the street and paid $5 less? I understand that the pandemic has been hard on a lot of places, but cutting corners and inflating prices like this is just not the way.
I ordered the spicy Chicken tenders meal, it came with fries, garlic bread, and two sauces of my choice. My meal was ready in 15 mins. Drove over to Druid hill park to eat and it was delicious, still hot and the fries were crispy. I picked the brd sauce and Carolina bbq sauces. The sauces were delish especially the Carolina bbq. It wasn’t your typical heavier bbq but lighter and a tad spicy. I loved everything so much I ordered the same thing the following week. One slightly annoying thing about customer service is when they bagged the order, they didn’t call it out, they just set the bag on the shelf and then I almost have to interrupt someone ordering on the line to ask for my food. I guess they depend on the text they send when the order is ready but the text doesn’t always arrive. Would be more efficient to call out the number as well, considering most people are waiting on the side for their order. The second time around the chicken was still the delicious however they forgot the Carolina bbq sauce and also silverware. Those two things brought it from 5 to 4 stars however I will try again so I vs. increase back to 5 stars.
To put it simply, BRD is fantastic. The chicken, the sauces, the fries. Everything is delicious. 10/10, absolutely will be back many times.
The R house location gets a big Fat 0 Stars from me! Went to this location on 2/10, first the young lady at the cash wrap needs customers service training asap! No hair nets, mask not all the way up, playing around in the kitchen, just completely unprofessional! They were using their hands instead of utensils to take food out of the fry basket. Needless to say I ask for my money back! This location sucks and I will never go back! To many kids with no supervision. I had to give them 1 star in order to post a review.
I wish I could say that my first experience dining with this restaurant was pleasant. Unfortunately i placed an order for pick up online. I thought the order was placed for the federal hill location but it for the R house location. I called the R house and I was informed that I could not get a refund. The manager said he could hold the order until I could get there. I explained to him that I would not be able to get to that location until the following day. I then placed another order for the correct location. I stopped in to the R house location later in the afternoon the next day. I was informed that I could not get my food or a refund. This is beyond bad customer service. It’s completely wrong.
