The owner, Derek gave my husband, an Uber/Lyft driver cupcakes when he heard it was my birthday! They were amazing! Will be searching for more today at my local Wegman’s/Safeway!!
I stumbled upon this rare find today, 8/5. I was looking for a place to eat lunch. Was I delighted! The owner was very friendly and suggested sweets I might enjoy. Of course,the sweet potato pie caught my eye because I think I make the best sw potato pie. But this one was exceptional. Both of our taste good, but it was a little lighter in texture than mine. I also had sw potato red velvet cake. You have got to try it!!! I will have to leave the comfort of DC AND TAKE ANOTHER TRIP TO BAKED IN BALTIMORE. Thank you kind sir. I did not get his name, but next time I will.
I worry about cleanliness in this Covid time. I was just in there a few seconds ago. The guy who was the cashier after me telling him what cupcake I want, he proceeds to pick up a glove laying on the counter to get me a cupcake. Since when I was entering, he had on his bag like he was ready to go, I asked him to put hand sanitizer on his hands and get my cupcakes. There was an argument kerfuffle and I walked out. Black businesses do better.

My sister Caroline bought and had shipped everyone in our very large family the absolutely, wonderful, super delicious Sweet Potato Cake and all I can say is I AM IN LOVE!!!! Wow, that is the BEST Sweet Potato Cake I've ever tasted. My sister also encouraged me to read about your whole story and it is truly inspiring. It's people like YOU that make the world a better and definitely much Sweeter place to live...Thank you and keep up the great accomplishments!!!!!
This place is the bomb! If you want delicious baked goods and friendly service....Baked in Baltimore is where it's at. I love the sweet potato cake...freshly made and delicious! I've also seen their products in Safeway. Yum!!!
