WOW, I had been driving down all the way to fells for sushi before this past Saturday. If you love small dine in sushi restaurants this is the place. Man vs Pho used to occupy this space but post covid this little gem popped up in its place. The sushi rolls are great, selection vast and the lunch combos are very affordable. I did however have a bit of an awkward ordering experience, I had never been so asking for drinks, to order and for soy sauce was a little different. But hey now I know ! I have not had a chance to try all the sushi options but I am very excited to make this my new goto local place, walking distance and friendly staff make Avenue Sushi a low key sushi date spot.
A true gem right in Canton/Highlandtown! Definitely a go-to spot for sushi, ramen and Korean tacos!!!

Hidden gem in Canton/Highlandtown. We’d ordered take out a few times and enjoyed their bibimbap. Decided to dine in on a Saturday evening and their sushi menu was very good - fresh and flavorful. We will be back soon to support this neighborhood establishment! Also note, they are a BYOB restaurant
everything here is delicious, the staff is super nice, and the sushi chef makes some darn good sushi. This is definitely my favorite place for sushi, I could seriously eat here everyday
The food at Avenue Sushi always tastes so fresh, even when you order delivery. So many other sushi places have food that tastes like it’s been sitting in a display case for hours. Not here! The Philly roll is my fave and the edamame is on point.Also, the owner, Adrian, is one of the nicest dudes ever. Really goes above and beyond to make sure his patrons have a great experience. As long as I live in Baltimore, I’ll be a loyal customer here!
I decided to try a new place because our usual sushi place was closed, upon entry everything was good but as me and my young daughter were sitting down there was a lot of cursing and the employees yelling back and fourth at each other about hitting one another . Very unprofessional especially considering I had my young daughter with me, the waitress even cursed as she was sitting out food down on the table. The sushi was good but I’m not sure I would come back considering the environment.
The food never disappoints. I've had zero bad experiences here. The staff are always super nice.
This is our go-to place for sushi. Reasonable prices, fresh, and quick. Friendly staff. We order from here at least once a week. Highly recommend the Canton and Maryland rolls!
Visited from out of town and my girlfriend and I enjoyed our time there. Food was great! Really enjoyed the Halloween theme ??!
