The restaurant was supposed to be open for dinner. We were staying in the hotel and looking forward to a meal after touring in the heat. The only worker was a person who was bartending an event. No orders could be placed. When we tried later at 9:30pm the person who was still tending bar said that the kitchen was closed. The restaurant was supposed to be open until 10pm...as was room service...through the restaurant.
My wife and I, along with our daughter who has some pretty serious food allergies (including celiac), just stayed at the Colonnade for two nights, and had breakfast at Alizee both mornings. Because of her allergies, when travelling, our daughter very often has to eat meals that are very basic, with little or no spice or sauce, or from a very restricted gluten-free, dairy-free menu selection. When she told our server about her allergies, chef Ricky Ricardo (yes, that's his name!) came out to speak with her, to find out what she would like, and what ingredients needed to be avoided. (Ricky was clearly knowledgeable and well-versed about food allergies.) When our meals arrived, instead of a severely stripped-down version of breakfast, our daughter received the same hearty, tasty meal we got, just without anything that could have caused her harm. The food was delicious, and the service was fantastic. Thank you, Ricky and team!
I eat here at least 2 times a month sometimes more mostly on a Friday between 6-7 p.m.The host or the chef always greet me kindness and with open arms. The service is great the food is excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone & everyone.
I guess the chicken Alfredo wasn't terrible. Sandwich was.
Great place for delicious american food. a preferred evening place. service is consistently good. feels similar to a restaurant in new york i liked.
I’d like to like this place, but really, I don’t. It is the restaurant in the Doubletree Inn at the Colonnade, a hotel I recommend otherwise. It isn’t that there is anything downright bad about Alizee American Bistro. The service is generally good. Depending on your mood and taste, the ambiance is dark and gloomy or subdued and intimate. I suspect, though, that most of the people who come here are not on date night. We come for the food. This is the same heavy, over-seasoned, out-of-the-freezer fare that we can find in a thousand other mid-price hotel restaurants. Cheeseburger anyone?
Came in for a quick Bite last night, It was pretty Crowded, little did I Know they had 1/2 off on Burgers every Sunday, I sat at the bar and Terrance took good care of me, Gotta Say he makes some really good Old Fashioned, funny guy i gotta say! for Dinner I had the Memphis BBQ Short Ribs, comes with vegetables and Grits and what a treat. Would Recommend!
Was Here for Classic Burger night on Sunday, The burgers have a nice Flavor to them, It seem pretty Busy since most of the tables were Full, Our Server Jeniffer was very attentive and Helpful. Definetly coming back.
It was a very quiet night not a lot of activity, but it seems like it was the Hotel in general that was pretty slow, I did not mind it since it was nice and Peaceful to get some work done, I Tried the Roasted Chicken and I was Surprise at portion, I was very delightful to say the least... My server Juan was very attentive and was always checking to see if I had refills and to check the quality of the Food. for Dessert I tried the Cookie Sandwich, it uses the Hotel cookies which are my favorite when I stay at the Hotel. Overall nice place to try if you are here for business.
Fui con mi pareja está noche y pude observar que habían Cambiado El menu desde la última vez que unos Amigos me Invitaron en una de mis visitas a Baltimore, El Lugar se encuentra en un Hotel por lo cual casi no había mucho tráfico, aún así habían un par de mesas a la hora de yo llegar con mi pareja a cenar, Nos sentamos en el área del Bar dónde Ricardo se encargó de atendernos con mucho Gusto, yo Probe la Hamburguesa que solo Traía Aguacate, Queso Cheddar, y Jalapeño pero a pesar de ello pude Agregar Champiñones y Cebolla Salteada que son cosas extras que me gustan en una Hamburguesa y sin Duda alguna El Sabor espectacular en termino medio como me gusta, mi pareja probó el Shrimp N' Grits el cual tenía un sabor muy bueno, y el postre que estaba Esquisito y el cual fue mi favorito de todos. Sin duda alguna volveremos en el futuro!
