Dining under the stars with friends and ate at Tsunami. On the recommendation of a friend I had the pork bellies with eel sauce. It looked like a taco, but tasted like nothing I have ever had. It was fantastic, full of flavor, yet still subtle. I am peeved at myself for not ordering the sushi to go with it. What was I thinking?!?

We loved eating here during the Dinner Under the Stars event that Annapolis holds in the summers. Service was great, and the edamame and sushi rolls were delicious. Only negative to me was that the sushi rolls only come with 5 pieces so it makes the cost add up quickly.

Great food. Kid and happy hour friendly.

We stopped in at Tsunami after a day trip to the Eastern Shore. Our favorites: the pork belly buns and the Spider Sumo Roll. The food presentation and quality impressed. However, the wait staff was a little neglectful. Let's just say that the service was noticeably more attentive for the younger, hipper patrons.

I really liked tsunami, great atmosphere, the staff was really friendly and attentive. The sushi is really good and they have plenty of good options. If you can, try the steamed buns, you will not regret it. We were lucky and found outdoor live music which added to the experience.

Trendy, cute, great menu with exciting choices- hard to choose it all sounded so good! Everyone in my group loved every single thing we ordered. The only thing that I wouldn't order again is the chicken fried rice, it was just okay. Not bad, just okay. Service was great, atmosphere was on point.

The good was the server(Breezy according to the receipt), steamed buns with shiitake mushrooms, and tutu Tuesday(fun event that they had going). The bad was the sushi and noise. Ordered 5 different sushi rolls and couldn’t tell one from another. Wasn’t the worst sushi I have ever had but nowhere near the best. The noise was ridiculously loud. I had to scream for another person to hear me and I had to read my waitress lips. I didn’t know there was music playing till I used the bathroom. For the price I would not recommend going here.

Great Asian inspired dishes, including sushi, and a great high quality cocktail selection.

Ramen was fantastic. Also, some of the best sushi in town. Atmosphere is a little noisy; bar is bustling. Restaurant is clean and well run. Drinks are expensive, but drinks are skillfully made.

So let me start with what was good:1. The service was GREAT. Our server was amazing and showed the perfect amount attentiveness.2. I LOVED the ambience and vibe of the place. They leveraged every available area to plug in seating, some of which was uniquely placed. We had great seats at the window overlooking the street so that we could people watch while we ate. These 2 are the driver behind the 3 stars. Now for the not so good:1. The food was mostly disappointing. The sushi was good, as were the pork belly. But the tuna lollipops were too salty and the pieces weren’t uniformly cut so some of the pieces were way too big in size. The slaw was the only thing that saved the duck legs, which were over cooked and didn’t have much flavor. And the ramen was bland with noodles that were a bit to undercooked. The broth also had no real depth to it.I’d been wanting to go to this place for awhile so I really was disappointed.
