I went with my husband & son after we read the great reviews about the place. We were really disappointed the ice cream was average and not as described, I even found a hair in my ice cream which was disgusting, the floor and tables were not clean and they don't have a change area in their bathroom if you have kids.i doubt we will try this place again.

I love this shoppe! The artsy aesthetic welcomes you in from the historic downtown ambiance. The owner (Sue) and staff are pleasant, hard working, and greet you with a smile. You can taste the quality and pride of this establishment in every cup of coffee. The ice cream will meet you where your imagination begins and have you return for another experience.It's a great space to chill and catch up with a friend or work on a project in the corner surrounded by good music.Whether a cup of coffee and conversation, ice cream to close out a fantastic evening with someone special, or just to stop in say hi to the cafe canine, the Red Bean delivers.
Absolutely love this place! My boyfriend and I are hooked on the Iced Honey Lavender Latte. Their coffee is unmatched for the Annapolis area. Definitely try it out if you haven’t (& the ice cream - so creamy with endless options to choose from) !
It is so cool to watch them mix the ice cream and toppings. Our creations turned out really delicious.
I was looking for a coffee shop in downtown Annapolis and i was very happy to find this place.The staff was very friendly and I ordered a regular cappuccino which was great and reasonably priced.I certainly want to back!
By far the best iced cream in downtown and we have tried a lot of them. They have one called old bay iced cream. I was told to try it so I reluctantly did and it was amazing. My wife got the chili dark chocolate and that was also wonderful
We have been to The Red Bean on two separate occasions now and I can tell you that we intend to make it noir “go to” place for ice cream and coffee while in downtown Annapolis. The service is always friendly, helpful, and quick; the prices are very reasonable; the ice cream and coffee are delicious! While enjoying your treat, be sure to take a moment and check out the local art that is on display as well.
Love this place. Red Bean has the best ice cream in Annapolis. Their concept of mixing is also very unique as compared to the other well know shops in the area. With so many add ons and mixing options the numbers flavours are unlimited.
Wonderful coffee, our server was very friendly and kind. Muffins were delicious too!!
