A hidden gem. Delicious food and drink, reasonable prices.

Four of us had dinner for the first time last night and what a delight! We each had a different main course. Fajitas, tacos, enchiladas, chimichanga. We all thought the food was great and very fresh. The decor of the seating area is very nice, too.

Great food; attentive serviceThis was our first visit. There were not many cars in the parking lot, so we were afraid it would not be a good experience. We went in and were pleasantly surprised. It was 2:15 on a Saturday afternoon. For most of our meal, we were the only customers there. Many restaurants have not been providing very good service during this pandemic. However, the server at Tequila Sunrise was very attentive. The restaurant is probably busier at night.Once we ordered our food, it only took about five minutes to receive it.I am used to chain Mexican restaurants such as Chuy’s and On the Border. This restaurant’s atmosphere is a little more upscale. The food is equal or better than most chain Mexican restaurants. The restrooms were clean. You can tell that they take pride in their restaurant. The restaurant owner’s name was written on the menu.I will make it a point to try to dine here again.

Hidden gem, in plain sight. Dined at Tequila Sunrise on West St. and we can’t say enough about how delicious dinner was. The staff was attentive and provided excellent service. We had the house margarita, chips and salsa, Chicken Enchiladas, Pechuga De Pollo a La Crema and the Tres Leches Cake.?The salsa was wonderfully spicy.?The Enchiladas were very good, the chicken was fresh and the beans and rice were so good, I cleaned the plate.?The Pechuga De Pollo a La Crema was delicious, tender chicken in an amazing cream sauce with tons of fresh vegetables.?We finished our meal with an out of this world Tres Leches Cake.Iván was a delight as our server. He answered our questions and struck up great conversation. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was great, Mexican Music, at the proper volume, nicely set and spaced tables, great theming without going overboard and clean. With all of the Mexican dining choices in the Annapolis area, we highly recommend the tremendous dining experience at Tequila Sunrise. We will be back, soon.

Good food and prices! Everything was fresh and presented nicely

Stumbled upon this gem tonight. The service was a 10 and the food a 12! Everything so fresh so many seafood options. We had chicken and steak tacos, grilled shrimp and veggies ( asparagus, zucchini squash and broccoli:-who offers this healthy selection as a mexican side?) homemade guacamole and chicken quesidillas. The house margarita is special w Agave. I worked at a Mexican restaurant for 7 years. Any bad reviews means that person got up on the wrong side of the bed :( pay no attention. So so good! We will be back very soon!! Mary, Dan and Caroline.

It as my first time there. I had such a wonderful experience!! Delicious shrimp tacos! The fajitas were absolutely amazing! It was the perfect amount of food. Going back soon and telling my friends :)

We were driving around Annapolis looking for a place to eat and decided to give this one a try. We were pleasantly surprised. It does not look like much from the outside but our dinners were excellent. I had the grilled salmon and it was done to perfection, along with fresh vegetables (carrots, asparagus, zucchini, spinach, cooked just right. Margaritas were generous and tasty.

It was two of us dining in just before the Army vs Navy wrestling match. There were two other families just recently seated before us and we were the only three tables in there and the service had a nerve to be slow. I went to the bathroom and came back. My guest ordered something to drink and the waiter came back to the table twice and didn’t ask me if I wanted anything to drink. I had to call him over to ask for something to drink. The salsa is not tasty and super mild. We asked for hotter salsa and we never received it. My guest ordered the three chicken soft tacos and they were unseasoned, rubbery, and tasted like it was 7 days old. I ordered the chicken chimichanga and it was deep fried. I have never had nor heard of a deep fried chimichanga. The refried beans were unseasoned and no onions, come on maaan!!! I felt like I was at an overpriced Taco Bell. And we are on our way to Taco Bell to get some real fake food!! Only eat here if you are drunk, you won’t know the difference.
