Wow what a delight. The food and service were perfect. The crab dip is awesome, best I've had anywhere. Had ribs and fried chicken. Served piping hot. Steamed shrimp. Huge and cooked perfectly. Wedge salad was good. Crisp and fresh. A tiny place but a gem for a well cooked meal. Family owned and run. Jamie was our server. She was great.
I'm sad. I ordered the BBQ pork sandwich with Carolina sauce. My wife ordered the ribs. Food comes out, I pulled a little piece of pork out of my sandwich to taste and spit it out. Rancid is the only way I can describe it. The sauce is made from vinegar so the only ingredient in that sandwich that can go bad is the meat. The ladies serving were very apologetic and gracious and I felt bad for them. Stuff like this happens and we all get that. The ribs and all of the sides were good. Service and staff were great but food safety controls need to be a priority.
Food is always excellent, and staff is nice. Small cozy environment, and it's family owned.
Most of our crabs were delicious. We had to throw away about 5 out of 2 dozen cause they smelled like cleaning fluid and the meat was dark and shriveled. Also while waiting for our food, could hear someone in the kitchen yelling profanities at someone on the phone who was late coming to work. I feel for the owner in that situation but I shouldn’t be able to hear it. Shrimp and hush puppies were great though.
Order two dozen crabs for Mother’s Day late in the afternoon and received generous portion of very large crabs. Hot and generous portion of claws
The food was okay. Nothing great but okay. The young lady taking the orders was absolutely amazing. Her knowledge of the fish was mind blowing. She's definitely knows what she's doing & loves it. I wish all young people had that attitude. Kudos to her parents because she's a great brand ambassador for the store. So, customer service over food here. It didn't even matter how tasty the food was because the surroundings & that young lady made the experience 100% worth the money spent.

Came here twice within my first week of moving to the area, I can tell it's gonna be a favorite! Not sure if I liked the barbecue, crab legs, or Mahi more. All of the above were delicious! Medium rare Mahi pictured. Will be seeing these folks again!
